Louisiana Roux Spoon Big Gumbo Spoon, Large, Stainless Steel

Sturdy, 18-8 Winco rounded-corner 'buffet spoon' of a large serving size, comfort is less than ideal as the handle edges are a tad 'sharp' on the hand, but it's sturdy and even better than expected overall. Good bowl capacity, great flat stackability, large hanging hole in handle.

I purchased this spoon 3 years ago, and I must say I have never been disappointed with its usefulness. It's the ultimate cooking spoon for any skillet or pot (not for Teflon). We cook in cast iron on a daily basis and this spoon is the perfect match for cast iron. It has a good length, weight and well. This spoon is made of stainless steel and will last you for a lifetime.

I love this spoon! It has a long handle that is great for stirring big pots. It also works great as a serving spoon. As others have stated it is thin. I almost didn't buy it because of the reviews but I am so happy that I did. It is very sturdy and fits my hand perfectly for making gravies and roux. Just perfect!

Bought the 13", thinking it was just the handle that was longer. I have the other size and the handle is a little short. However, this is not home cook size. This is institutional/chuck wagon/feed the giant size. I'm keeping it, and they are good spoons, just be careful which size you buy.

I've been wanting to purchase a spoon with a flat tip for a while now. I'm so happy I purchased this spoon. Very durable, and has been great for making roux for gumbo.

High quality will use for now on

I ordered the 13” x 3.5” Roux spoon. It took 2 weeks before it shipped. Upon arrival, it turned out to be the wrong size and made of cheap metal. Definitely not made in the USA like the picture showed.
