Upside? Couldn't be any worse.
I live in an area with fair to poor reception in the valley. With this antenna installed I get no reception at all. I can pick up at least one station with no antenna connected. The antenna comes with no instructions at all, so it took about an hour of surfing the web to find ANY type of help. I drove up to where I get great reception and could not get any station to auto tune and when I tuned manually they were un-listenable.

Really stupid design anyway you slice it
It didn't do anything for my car. No instructions included and I couldn't find any online. Why is the red wire at the end of the antenna? Really stupid design anyway you slice it.
