Great barefoot type shoes for correcting supination
I am a runner of around a year and was on the verge of needing to quit due to shin splints. Because I supinate rather than pronate (ie my feet land on their outside edges when I run which has created issues on the insides of my calves) I have done a load of research about the best trainer for supinators. I ended up spending £120 on a pair of Brooks Ghosts and the issue sadly continued - it turned in to knee and hip pain also.I came across a YouTube video about barefoot running and the man suggested vivo five finger trainers- well, they’re about £100 also so I looked on Amazon and found these for less than a third of the price. It’s worth a shot right? Straight away they are SO comfortable. Like Skechers- they’re light and the sole has enough cushion for running on trails and roads. But because they’re basically flat with a very wide toe box, they encourage the correct foot landing position which is toe first (rather than thumping on my heels like I have been doing). I just got back from a short tester run and my legs hurt in places they never have. Which is a GOOD thing!! Because it means these trainers are making me run correctly and using muscles I’ve not used so far. I have hopes that these will be the answer to my running issues

Excellent minimal shoe and good value for money
This must be my 3rd or 4th pair I have bought and I really like them. During Covid-19 lockdown, I used them on a nearly daily basis for my "one exercise per day" walking about 6 miles through the Oxfordshire countryside. I prefer them over more traditional hiking or sport shoes since they are lightweight and support a "natural way of walking". Obviously they have impact reduction and you can feel the surface very clearly through them - which is exactly the point. They don't like getting wet or muddy - which is realistically limiting them to spring, summer and autum use. Guess they would also work well as gym shoes, but I don't attend one. One piece of advise: since you wear them barefoot, they are quite large for their UK size. For example, I am a UK 10. Even the size UK 9 fits me, just very "snug" albeit they stretch quickly. I usually settle on the 9.5 which are still on the large side.

Great barefoot shoe but could have a wider toe-box
Been wearing these almost daily for about 3 months and they're just starting to show some wear. Overall very comfortable and easy to put on. Seem to be zero-heel drop and have a nice sole thickness that lets you feel the ground without getting hurt by those pointy stones.(your friends may despise them however)

Perfect comfortable shoes
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had these since May 2021. I love wearing barefoot. Since trying my first pair I can’t go back to the regular shoes. These ones are fantastic. I wear than daily. They have a bit more support which means you can walk all day and you are ok. I have worn these walking on volcanic rocks twice already and they were great. Used them for hiking as well. They have a really good grip. They still look great and are great after very regular use for over a year.

Brilliant
I don't think these look great and definitely not fashionable but they are by far the best running shoes I've ever had, i bought these in 2019 (now 2023) they were originally used around the garden etc... but for the last two years they've been exclusively used for running, i now no longer run in pain, completely injury free, they are well built (still going strong) my arches have reformed as result of wearing them (and other barefoot footwear)Definitely recommend 👌

Inexpensive, comfortable, good grip
I bought these because I wanted a comfortable pair of shoes for a long haul return flight to Canada. I ended up wearing them throughout the two week trip for everything from driving to hiking in the Rockies. They have proved to be extremely comfortable for walking in cities, strolling in the woods, and scrambling over wet and dry rocks. I have received a number of positive comments about the look of the shoes, and a few people were interested in getting a pair for themselves.I don't know how long they will last. The uppers don't feel as well built as some of the more expensive brands that I have owned, but the soles of those always wear out well before there is any real deterioration of the uppers. That makes the extra expense seem wasteful.Overall I can't fault these shoes.

Comfort and great fit
Love the shoes. They are flat and as I am used to running in trainers, you begin to feel a different use of your calf muscle. The shoes are a bit thin. If you run over a stone you will feel it. Great comfort and brilliant fit. Excellent value for money.

Amazing!
First “barefoot” running shoes I bought.(* definitely not a pro, I just like running, it’s my meditation)In about a month I was able to adapt to a proper running form, the pain I had on my leg is gone, and I’m building up to my top marks.Running shoes: 10k average 54 mins (top 52 mins)Barefoot shoes: managed a 58 mins 10k, and currently making an average 26 mins 5k (I’m trying to not overstrain with just running 10k)
