Very good
Quite challenging and a good test. Only downside is the pieces are quite lightweight and knock over very easily.

Not what they used to be
Having previously purchased a Lexibook chess board we expected high quality that lasts. This one is of inferior quality and disappointingly does not have the same sound effect features as before. Does the job but not as good as before.

So so
Pieces are way too cheap. No cloth at bottom for smooth touch of board, just cheap plastic hallow rim. Touch sensor is good mind you (in that it doesn't take much pressure) but with the cheap quality of pieces you must be careful as you can easily slip when pressing down and knock pieces all over the place.Classic case of they don't make em like they used to... Profit first, make as cheap as humanly possible.

Ideal for single player
It took me a few days to master use but persevering with instructions won out. I now play regularly. Pieces are light so get knocked over but if careful it’s fine and board tells you where they should be. It’s not that easy to beat but I’m not a great player and managing at easier levels.

No charger or batteries included
The Lexibook Chess is good however it does not come with charger or batteries. It does not say in the product that the charger or batteries are not included. The other issue I found the instructions are hard to read as they are printed in a small paper especially if you are visually impaired and it will be hard to read the instructions.
