I have a German Shepard/ Blue Heeler mix that sheds like a crazy dog...all year long. I have used other brushes meant for undercoats but wanted to give this style a try. I will say it does better than the other ones I have. I have noticed that the wider slotted side seems to get more of the undercoat out. My dog also lets me brush him longer with this brush versus the other one that I use. This is now my preferred brush for my hairy big boy.

This pet desheader is awesome! It arrived in 1 day!! We’ve used it on our dog and cats! It works!! It’s great for removing their under coat. Our dog and one of our cats love it and will let us brush/comb them as long as we will! lol It’s also great for removing mats! We have one cat that has developed some mats. She’s not a real crazy about it (she can be temperamental) so we do a little at a time BUT the first time we got mats out!! I’m so happy with that progress and will work slowly to remove them all! If you’re looking for a good tool, give this one a try!!

my cats hate brushing, need brushing/ this so easily removes okd hair on my 15 year old cats. and they dont mind more than a hair brush. think sharp blades make it easier to detalgke and blades dont touch cat. first one i have praised. and not the high cost of others with less result

This dematting comb/brush is the right size for my small dog but it barely works as far as removing the matted hair. the sharp edges don't seem very sharp at all. So it pulls and hurts her. I have to be very gentle and if its a big matted spot, forget using this, I have to either try to detangle it with my fingers or cut it out.

Our older cat developed some mats and we were having difficulty getting them out. This tool removed most of the mats completely and allowed us to get the largest two far enough away from her skin to cut them out with scissors. I’m completely satisfied.

This works great! It's comfortable in my hand and gets a lot of fur, especially the under coat. Shame only one of my three long haired cats likes to be brushed lol

So I have a very mature and very long haired cat that gets a little annoyed whenever I try to go in with scissors and the wire brush to cut out his deep matting.I had low expectations but needed something to help because I couldn’t keep up with the matting in his undercoat.. it’s so bad and I’ve tried a bunch of brushes for it to no avail.Opened this up and I couldn’t believe what an amazing job it did! Honestly my new favourite possession. Cuts right through the mats with no pain on his end and it gets all the tiny undercoat hairs.Only downside is the hairs come off super statically charged so it’s a little messy.

Did awesome job of matted hair
