Professional UV Light Safety Glasses for 90nm-490nm wavelength UV lamps, UVC protective glasses, blocking blue light , Anti-Fatigue Anti Glare, shatterproof, anti-scratch and anti-fog, orange lenses

I'm taking up to 30 sessions of UV-B phototherapy as prescribed by my dermatologist. They provide either opaque rubber eye cups secured with an elastic band, or a full-face transparent plastic shield for eye protection while inside the light booth. I wanted something that I could see through and fit like normal glasses, even though I keep my eyes closed when the lamps are on. The UV-B light is 311nm, which is within the range of these glasses. To test the effectiveness of these glasses, I didn't have a lamp at 311nm but I do have a flashlight that emits 365nm. My photogray prescription glasses turn dark when exposed to sunlight (i.e., UV light). When I shine the UV flashlight directly at my glasses, they turn dark gray almost instantly. Put these UV safety glasses between the flashlight and my glasses, and nothing. No color change; my glasses remain clear. That says to me that the UV light is being blocked just like they claim. I've worn the glasses for two sessions and while they are a bit tight on the head, it's only a couple of minutes that I'm in the light booth. They are close-fitting to the face so there's no chance that you could wear regular glasses underneath. While in the light booth, I wear contacts, which themselves are supposed to block 99% of UV-B rays but they don't cover the entire surface of the eyeballs. These safety glasses come with a zippered semi-hard case, along with a small cleaning cloth.

Great to use with UV light

These don’t let light in the gaps which is good

These are great for when I work on the yard. The UV protection is great and the anti fog works real well. They fit perfect and are at a great price. I would highly suggest these protective glasses.

Very surprised by the quality of the glasses. It doesn't feel flimsy, good value for the money.

Update: buying another on Prime Day Oct'25 because I haven't been able to find a replacement that doesn't cost more than double at a minimum! Everything as cheap as this either doesn't work (lets blue through like those yellow "night" lenses) or or blocks green (550nm cut off for use with 532nm DPSS) which is very difficult to drive with (I bought a cheap one of those with red lens just to try it). I'll try to take better care of the frame. Also buying a plastic welder to try with all these Chinese glasses who's frames break (stupidly common, only big safety over glasses don't seem to break easily). Original review: I bought this primarily for night driving because of all the LED & HID lights blinding me! "White" LEDs are really a blue LED shining on a yellow phosphor and HIDs are arc lamps also primarily blue: by blocking blue & keeping (most) green to red it really knocks down the glare at the expense of not seeing blue cop lights (same LED but no phosphor). Knocking 2 stars off for quality: rubber sleeves came off and nearly impossible to replace, and now a couple years later the frame broke. Also no side vision which is a problem while driving. I really want the same lens in a better frame. I've also used this in daytime when I can't find other glasses and it works surprisingly well despite no polarization or darkness, proving how much blue light makes it to the surface. For those keeping score (nerds): you want to block to 490nm (Royal Blue also Blu-Ray) but not 532nm (DPSS green laser, still a common pointer). I bought another (red) lens that does block 532nm and it makes driving a lot harder because you can't see if the green traffic light is on or not especially during the day.

Good safety glasses, good fit nice side wings on the glasses. The lenses are perfect for eye protection in specified light range.
