testo 310 - Flue Gas Analyser (Standard Kit)

I don’t use all the functions but after having a lane 455 & an anton sprint 2 that both went up in smoke I have to say for the price & ease of use & start up time & battery I do think this is my fav one so far in years of owning this type of thing

Only 6 months worth of calibration

I was worried after reading previous reviews regarding condition and calibration but took a chance as these are sold as "like new".My analyser arrived quickly and I was more than happy with the condition. I was sent a brand new set that had obviously never been used. I believe that the box had in fact never been opened so I was very very happy. Now for the negative bit. These are old stock units , mine is dated from December 2020. This originally came with a years calibration certificate which unfortunately had expired in December 2021. I tried to contact Amazon about it but got nowhere because I didn't want to exchange my analyser for another one so I contacted Testo directly via the Amazon site who very kindly organised collection and calibrated the analyser for no charge. If I were to have paid for calibration myself then it would have increased the cost to the price of a brand new analyser so its not worth the aggro. For me I have been very lucky and ended up with a very good analyser at a fraction of the cost thanks to Testo.

Bought this quickly as work booked in and previous analyser gave up the ghost.I use it constantly with my job, it has all the features you need, it's just not a whistles and bells analyser. Can be a little confusing when scrolling through the readings (top button does top readings, bottom does bottom and no facility to 'go back' only go through whole menu) 30 seconds to zero, lightweight, sturdy carry case. The hose could be longer, and the silicone tube that's attached, can be a pain in the derriere, but it does the job, gives the figures you need, is quick to zero and lightweight. No brainer really.#######UPDATE######2 weeks in, used daily, and now it appears the Co2 cell is out of calibration. Tested side by side with another analyser and found this was reading over 1% higher than the other unnamed analyser. This could lead to a dangerous situation. Let's see who's going to sort it. Watch this space.

Like all new equipment it needed set up. Once completed its great! Recommend YouTube for set up!! Very easy to use! I really like the test hose being attached to the Meter! Printer works well and impresses the customer! I would recommend Any of the Testo range! They simply do what's needed! Robert

Needed a tester quick so purchased this, tester itself is brilliant I love it , does more than you need for boiler services and installs, the only problem is the test calibration is no where near a year, after returning one they sent me a replacement with the same problem, I refused to send it back again as this planet is already suffering too much waste, I contacted Testo direct and they agreed to recalibrate it for free so now I have a full years calibration and check from manufacturer, I think I should have some sort of compensation from Amazon but I guess that's gonna fall on deaf ears

The unit appears new , but cannot be used safely as the calibration expired DEC 2022, very disappointed !

Really happy very fast delivery but worried when read reviews about calibration but all good 11 mouths worth so happy really good product and cheapest deal on whole internet believe me I’ve looked everywhere,Thank you so much
