Why does sock description state cotton is presen when the product received has NO cotton in it whatsoever?

I have the same gripe! I specifically wanted some cotton so that's why I ordered these. But what arrived had no cotton. The product descriptions on the Amazon website often don't match what is delivered. Which really undermines customer trust. They could do a much better job of verifying product description matches actual product delivered.

Great wearing socks.

These are comfortable socks. I’m at the age that I need over the ankle socks to play golf. Adidas is my go to for golf wear and these didn’t disappoint. I will definitely be buying more.

I searched and searched. These are the ones.

Okay, they're socks, I get it, but these are the rare combo of supportive fit and just enough padding that they work in many situations - golf, day-to-day and work casual. I bought some of these a few years ago at a retail store and loved them. Since that time I have purchased five or six other varieties of Adidas socks from Amazon seeking the same build, but never quite got what I was looking for. Don't get me wrong, the others are fine, but lacked the arch support and small amount of padding that makes them feel great. These socks wear extremely well and handle multiple washes and drying. I have these in ankle length and quarter crew so know you're not limited to this height. I can't believe I wrote this long a review about socks, but when I find what I had been looking for I want to share the news.
