Does what it promises
I have a pair of Scarpa boots fitted with Vibram soles that are around 8 years old. Over that time they have become extremely comfortable. As a lot of my walking is off road, the soles have a considerable amount of wear left in them and the uppers remain in excellent condition. However a few weeks ago the rubber edging strip on one boot started to come away from the upper and then the toe of the sole on the other boot became separated from the upper. As the soles have a lot of wear left I was reluctant to send them off for re-soling and due to lockdown the local cobbler is shut, so a DIY repair was my first choice. After reading reviews of a number of products and speaking with friends who had used some with no success, I decided to give Boot-Fix Shoe glue a try. Other reviewers have commented that the amount you get for your money is tiny. This may appear to be the case, but the reality is that you only need to use a very small amount. I glued both boots and used about 20% of the glue. I found you need to apply pressure for longer than the instructions say. Working my way around the rubber side trim took about 10 minutes in total. However the repair appears to be very good. Since gluing them I have walked over 100 miles in both dry and very wet and muddy conditions and the repair is as good as when first done. The only comment I would make is that where some of the glue oozed above the rubber side seal it dried white. This appears to be purely cosmetic and I suspect would pick off if I wanted to. Therefore from my experience thus far, this product is definitely worth a try in the first instance.

Brought new life to an old pair of Docs!
I have an old pair of 14 eye Dr Marten boots that are nearly 20 years old. They're my first and original pair of bovver boots, and together we've been through a lot. A few years back the sole developed a nasty tear just below the welt. I always intended to get the soles replaced but instead put it off and the boots ended up buried in an understairs closet. I dug them out while clearing the closet out a few months ago and gave them a good clean and polish - they were showing their age but looking great, aside from the torn sole. I considered resealing the sole with the old hot knife trick but figured these boots are too precious to me to risk damaging - after comparing a few products, I took a punt with this one. It costs a little more than some of the alternatives, but it's worth it! Simple to apply, dried quickly and seemed to completely cure within about a day. Back to my stomping ways, and the repair has held through everything I've put them through - city walks, all-night dances, muddy woodland adventures, deep puddles. Been a few months now and still holding strong. Would recommend for any boot repairs and next time one of mine needs repairing, this is what I'll go to.

This stuff really works
I bought this glue around a year ago, and everything (including a leather phone case) has stayed properly stuck. I bought this to repair an entire half sole and heel section that came off a pair of my wife's boots - it absolutely fixed them and has remained properly stuck (and flexible). Subsequently this has done many other minor repairs to shoes, phone cases and belts. It recommends keeping the glue in the fridge once open, which I have done. A year later, I repaired a heel that come off my son's girlfriend's favourite boots after dragging the glue from the back of the fridge (hiding amongst the jars). Worked a treat - and she's very happy. This seems like expensive stuff, but after being in the fridge for a year and saving a good couple of hundred quids worth of loved stuff, it's well worth the spend.

It worked for me.
Had a pair of trainers less than 12 months old, with white main sole with a black tread /wearing sole. Black tread started to become detached at the heel on one side and flap about. Looked for a glue with which to re-fix the back tread as there was still a lot of wear left in the trainers overall. Saw this product but decided against ordering based on some of the reviews. Took the trainers to a local Timpsons shoe repair shop and asked them if they sold any suitable adhesive. They said "no", but offered to re-fix the sole back in place using their own repair adhesive. I thought this would be the answer as they must use some good stuff day in and day out. They did the repair at no cost, and I thought I had a result, but it only lasted about a week before becoming detached again. So I decided to order this product and have a go myself as the only other option was to throw an otherwise perfectly good pair of trainers in the bin. I cleaned both surfaces to be stuck and abraded them with some fine sandpaper. Then I applied the glue and kept pressure on whilst they bonded. Left overnight to fully go off. That was over 4 months ago and the repair is still holding strong despite trainers being used every day in all weathers and even being walked across a wet sandy beach (salt water being the thing that has killed other footwear in the past) Thoroughly recommend.

Super Glue but Not Necessarily Shoe Glue
Very strong glue that stuck football boots together and then they came apart on first use. Found that some other thicker glues are better for repairing trainers. That said it is still a tube of super glue that is useful for other bonding where there is less movement and flexing

Fantastic fix
Easy to use, bought to fix my favourite trainers where the leather was coming away from the rubber cupsole around the toe. Has fixed it so it looks good as new. It's a strong fix and I've used it since on a pair of sandals where the sole started to loosen from the footbed. I spend a lot of money on footwear and this product will extend the life and therefore my enjoyment of my shoes. Not cheap, but I think great value for money as is easy and effective in use. Be careful to wipe away excess before applying pressure to repairs, as is tricky to get off your fingers otherwise.

No funcionó.

Ya he pegado tres suelas y unas gafas, y he gastado muy poco producto.
