Lume Acidified Body Wash - 8.5 oz (Toasted Coconut)

I'm obsessed with this stuff! I usually wash my body twice and use this first to let the AHA's in it do their work. I really like that this has Mandelic acid in it to control odor and very lightly exfoliate, which is perfect for sensitive skin. It cleans well, doesn't leave any odd film or residue and while I don't think it is necessarily moisturizing, it does not strip the skin. This is perfect for daily use, foams up well on my African net sponge, and does everything it claims! It is especially handy during the summer to help get rid of odors. A little pricey, but I find a little goes a long way, especially if you mix it with another body wash (EOS Vanilla Cashmere is my go to with this to create a yummy toasted coconut & vanilla scent)

What can I say? It’s Lume! I couldn’t find the tangerine in stock on their website or in store so found it here. Love this body wash. It’s clear and alittle goes along way. Feel cleaner and odor free longer.

Arrived wrapped in pairs (had also purchased the body deodorant) and each one sealed. Effective product that helps with keeping body odor at bay. No residues left behind. A small amount on wash rag is all that is needed. Various scents available.

I switched to natural deodorant, so I needed something to help with odor during the transition. This product is effective, it lathers well and takes just a little bit, so I know that the bottle will last a long time. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the smell. The scent leans more toasty and nutty than sweet coconut. I was expecting the usual creamy, sugary coconut note, but this one smells much drier and less tropical to me. If I do purchase again, I will go with a fruity scent.

Lume is by far the most effective soap/body wash to control body odor. If you’re an athlete, work out, or happen to sweat a lot, this product needs to be in your shower or your gym bag. If you’re taking a vacation to a warmer climate, be sure to shower in this before you go out and about. Give it a try, see for yourself. It is very expensive in my opinion, especially because it’s a small amount , but it’s worth the price for staying fresh. We’re a sensitive skin family and it has not caused any irritation. Best lather comes with using a loofah. Works even better when coupled with their 72 hour whole body deodorant!

Makes a lovely lather when showering OR when used as a bubble bath. It makes the water feel very soft and smooth. The fragrance is ok, but I wish it was real essential oils rather than an artificial fragrance. I was surprised that even after only one use, it controlled body odor for a few days. Also, my skin just felt better. Cleaner, and more calm. I didn't realize that it was not just dryness irritating my skin, but the alkalinity of other body washes. With Lume my skin just feels soothed, compared to before. I wish it was more moisturizing, but it does seem to help my skin hold onto moisture better. I went ahead and subscribed because I love it and so doe my spouse.

This is a pleasure to use ! 1st.- A little goes a long way. 2nd.- The scent is very nice- Now most importantly, WOW does Lume ever work for odor control and lasts a long time.

Switched to this body wash to help with odor I used it everyday I also use Dove clinical deodorant spray with these two combined my underarms were getting so irritated it left behind red marks that I’m still healing from this body wash with the burning the products were counter active I believe the body wash did it’s job before I got irritated but it was too harsh on my skin I stopped use of both products

I have the deodorant cream and thought I was getting the same thing in a bigger size but was surprised when opening that is was body wash. But couldn’t return as I had opened the tube….so made the best of it and I am loving the wash. Very nice surprise!

This bodywash is insanely expensive but it works. I received a sample of the toasted coconut scented one from the company when I ordered direct and I absolutely 💯 love it. It makes me feel way cleaner than just soap. I use my regular body wash to start but I use Lume exclusively for pits and privates. Amazing and my pits no longer smells like remnants of my deodorant. No matter how much soap (bar or wash) I can always smell the faint smell of deodorant as if it's not clean enough. This leaves them smelling clean. The smell doesn't linger like other body washes but it does for short time. I also didn't think I would enjoy the smell but was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't as I imagined it smelling. This two pack works out to be cheaper than buying two individual bottles. As for the leaking that many are complaining of on the reviews this can be remedied by simply closing the cap properly. It's a snap cap. Use your desired amount and snap the lid back properly. I never had spillage or leakage with my first and none whatsoever with these. I would love to explore a less expensive option but it would have to be tested and approved my my gyno so for now I'll still with this. A little goes a long way and as I'm only using it in three areas it will last a long time even with showering twice a day. Conclusion: It works. It's expensive. Too expensive to be honest BUT, I love that confidence it brings out knowing you are super clean.

I came across this product and was a little skeptical at first. I decided to give it a shot. So glad I did. I’ve used two full bottles so far, and just reordered two more. I got clean tangerine and it smells great. I do feel it’s helped to keep me feeling fresher, longer. I’ve also noticed that it has helped brighten my skin some, in areas I had some darkening - so that’s bonus!
