I’ve recently begun experimenting with solar power, and this 50W flexible solar panel has quickly become a valuable part of my setup. I recently used it for a DIY portable power station, and its performance has been outstanding. The panel feels well-built, and I particularly like its lightweight design. Compared to the rigid panels I’ve used in the past, it’s much easier to transport and set up. Even in less-than-perfect weather, its output remains impressive. On sunny days, it nearly reaches its rated power, and even with partial cloud cover, it still delivers solid charging performance. The standard MC4 connectors make integrating it into my existing solar system a breeze. While it’s described as “flexible,” it’s more accurately “bendable,” able to conform to slightly curved surfaces—a feature that greatly expands installation options. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this solar panel. It’s efficient, portable, and appears durable enough to handle regular use. It connects to your phone through an app, so you can check the charging capacity and the percentage of your battery.

This small 50w panel was just the right size I was looking for. My goal was to make a solar assembly that looked like a sun/moonroof. My car doesn't have one, so I wanted to make practical use for the space where one would be. 34" fits nicely on a 2025 Crosstrek Sport (probably many other cars too) and the 14" coupled with a wind deflector just about makes up the dimensions of a sunroof. When tested outside of being mounted, the panel is just as effective as any, gaining close to max input when angled against the sun. It does lose a bit being flat on the roof, but parked during the morning into early afternoon, it does charge my solar generator along with some USB devices on most days. The solar generator in turn powers my dashcam for parking recording at night. Installation is straightforward, but you will need to provide the mounting materials to your application. It does not have any adhesive on the back or any brackets. It's flexible and durable to conform to the slight curves of the car roof. Connection is strong even through 2 extension cords.

I purchased this a couple months ago and I wanted to use this panel before I wrote a review. The texture feels really premium, and the cable and junction are put together very well with no blemishes that I could find. It also comes with standard solar connectors, which made setup a breeze. Really impressed with the attention to detail! The packaging for the Lensun 30W flexible solar panel is great! It was packaged well with every piece wrapped individually and in its own cardboard. I've had solar panels damaged due to poor packaging and Lensun had each piece secured and protected. I’ve tried a few other solar panels before, but this one stands out in terms of durability and efficiency. I had a minor issue with a different product from Lensunsolar in the past, but their customer service quickly resolved it without any hassle. Definitely recommend this panel for anyone looking for reliable solar power! I was able to install it onto my overland hard case with a molle panel mounted on the outside. Becuase of how thin this panel is, it was easily secured and I don't have to worry about it sticking up too much. Being flexible, it can mold to any surface that is curved...so I'll have to pick up a couple more panels for other application. Performance: being thin and flexible, I did not notice and drop in power during the day. The power absorption was high and well maintained throughout a sunny day. This can definately hang with other solar panels that are out there, but at a better price.

Advertised at 130 but only has given me max 95 on a really good day. Material is really good and durable though other than that it’s a good solar panel.

This 50W solar panel is a total game changer for my truck. The installation was incredibly easy, and it mounted to my tonneau cover so seamlessly it looks like a factory option. I used a simple adapter to connect it to my battery pack, and it works perfectly. What I love most is how it keeps my power source topped off. I use the battery pack to power my tools and charge devices in the truck bed, and I no longer have to worry about it running low. The peace of mind is incredible, knowing that all the components, including the panel itself and the wiring, are completely weatherproof and built to withstand the elements. This has made my work so much more efficient and gives me a fantastic, worry-free solution for reliable power on the go.

I ordered two of the 80-watt panels, and one already had visible bubbles in it. I tested both anyway, but the best output I ever saw was about 50 watts each, averaging closer to 35 watts each. I reached out to Lensun multiple times by email and phone with no response at all. Ended up returning both panels. Quality seems hit-or-miss, and their customer service is non-existent. Sad....because I really like the way the panels look.

I’m very happy with the 50 watt flexible solar panel. The output works great and delivers a good charge to my batteries. It’s going to be installed on my travel trailer, and it’s very easy to mount on the curved roof. The build quality is pretty fantastic for the price. It feels very durable for being very lightweight, which is perfect for my trailer.

I've had my 50w panel mounted for a little while now, and just as expected, I am very happy with it. This is the second Lensun panel I have mounted to my truck, the first being the 100w panel for the Ram 2500 hood. I use that panel to keep my truck battery topped off. I mounted this 50w panel to my roof, and it is keeping my auxillary power station charged. I run my fridge from this station, whether I'm camping or working (pictured on the jobsite). So far, it has done a great job, and I will be looking to add two more of these panels to that location, for a total of 150w for the power station. The panel is held down with 3m double sided tape, and I've had no issues with it!

I purchased this panel for a hood mounted application, along with the Lensun mppt controller. The solar panel came in a previously opened box, and was not compatible with my Ecoflow river, which would not indicate a charge. The panel seems decent quality and is head and shoulders above the mttp controller, which was cheap and 'dollar store' looking + damaged.
