SPA Pump, 4HP Hot Tub Pump - 2 Speed LX SPA Pump Motor 220-240V, 2" Port, 56 Frame (Model: 56WUA400-II)

The pump motor on my Dr Wellness G-2000 spa would no longer start reliably. Did some research and determined this pump has same specs as the G-2000 pump even though the G-2000 pump is marketed as 6Hp and this is a 4Hp. It's just a difference in how the two are rated by the vendors. (Peak Hp vs continuous Hp) So I ordered and installed and it was a perfect fit. It has been working now for a couple of months with no issues. It even seems a little quieter! A great replacement for near half the cost the spa manufacturer wanted!

Pump motor was super easy to install. Instructions were easy to follow and it came ready for service. I didn’t need all of the parts, but it came with everything you would need. Sitting in my hot tub as I write this.

I purchased this December 31 and installed it January 31. In a little over a month the bearings are failing. They are dragging so bad that it sometimes doesn’t start in low speed. My background is a senior electrical engineer in power maintenance. This is unacceptable and obviously needs attention by the seller. No response.
