These owl decoys look realistic and add a nice touch to the garden. I like the rotating head feature, which makes them more noticeable outdoors. They’re easy to place and work great as both decoration and a bird deterrent. Very happy with them!

These owl decoys are well made and look great in the garden while helping discourage birds from landing in certain areas. Not sure about birds but it sometimes works on kids as well. The rotating head is a nice feature, but I found that it takes a fairly strong wind for it to turn consistently. Even so, they add a realistic touch to the yard and are a simple, chemical-free way to help reduce unwanted bird activity.

They do not work however the squirrels and chip monks may have become accustomed to them despite moving them around every 3 days.

We thought these owls were working great to deter barn swallows last summer. But they were back again this spring. We moved the owls around frequently, and still the birds built their nests. The owls themselves were great with moveable heads.

I picked this up to help keep birds and other critters away from our outdoor space, and I’ve been impressed with how realistic it looks. The bright eyes and rotating head definitely add to the effect, especially when there’s a little wind. Setup was incredibly easy, and I like that you can add sand to the base for extra stability. It also blends in nicely as garden decor rather than being an eyesore. I plan to move it around periodically to keep animals from getting too used to it. Simple, humane, and worth trying!

These may work for some types of birds but they are not effective against porch wrens in my area of northern Maryland. I was diligent about moving the owls around periodically. These wrens are very persistent and relentless. I tried each of the following separately (pre-nest) using very strong scented material but none of them worked. I sprayed the area with Liquid Fence. Tried placing a bar of Irish Spring soap. Tried placing an ash tray full of cigar ashes and cigar buts. They built a nest inside the ash tray on top of the ashes (see pic). The only thing that worked for me is to check the spot daily because they rebuild very fast. If no eggs present, them remove the empty nest. Eventually they gave up. On a separate note, these owls were built to withstand an impact. I filled mine with gravel to weigh it down. I accidentally pushed one off the deck railing and it landed on a gravel walkway about 8 feet below. I popped the head back on and it was good to go. I wish the heads would have more movement in light wind.

This owl duo is beautiful, and I love the lovely touch they add to my garden. I really like that their heads rotate—they look so real. They are made of durable plastic in a beautiful color that almost blends in with the surroundings. There aren't as many birds in my yard eating my fruit anymore; honestly, I feel like they get scared when they see my owls—haha, it's perfect.

Perfect for job intended, I owl has a back to front head, but ok in the wind when it turns round. 🤣

They were purchased to keep pigeons away. They work great. When the heads turn that keeps all the birds away. Thank You

Does not do anything for pigeons. They literally land right next to them.

They don't repel squirrels. They just ignore them
