NOT FAA 107 COMPLIANT Does not come anywhere near the 3 SM requirement, its a poor quality bike light with a few fake reviews
The media could not be loaded. This is not an FAA complaint light and WILL not meet FAA 107 requirements for a waiver. The seller states that it meets the 3 SM requirement, in our tests it does not even come close the actual lights on the drone itself were brighter. The leds are low quality and at best blink do not really strobe, the light intensity in lumens is very low and provides no where near the light output they state. This is a bike poor quality bike light being sold as a UAS/Drone light. The mount with the strap is very flimsy and slid around and had to be removed on the mavic each time we changed the battery. On the Inspire and Phantom it is not a good fit at all. The casing actually blocks the light that is emitted so at best you get maybe 60 degrees of coverage at best. Compared to the other Drone Strobes we run ( Firehouse Arc or the DS-30) this just falls far short. Stick with lights that are designed for Drones, the vendors trying to pass off poor quality Bike lights as drone lights are a waste of time and money. If your spending a thousand dollars on a drone ...spend the few bucks more to get a FAA Compliant light that meets the 3 SM regulation, has approved waivers from its use (they don't have one as they advertise, and after seeing the light for good reason) and if you have a downed aircraft will actually help you locate it. We posted video here so you can see, buyer beware , dont waste your time, money, or risk your FAA remote pilot license using this light.

Cheap battery in some recycled old MP3 player housing. ...
Cheap battery in some recycled old MP3 player housing. Takes hours to charge, I bought two and both are flaky. One got thrown in the trash once it would not turn off and was getting hot. Amazon do you have Quality Control people here? This is a hazard waiting to happen. I would take my money back but the product is gone. Yuck.UPDATE: I saved them from the garbage, now I need to see if it’s safe to ship them back for a return even. $19.99 wow...

The visible angle is only about 120 degrees so better get 3 or more for full 360 coverage
Billed to be visible for FAA required 3 miles but during the daytime, I could not see it flashing from 1/2 mile away, maybe binoculars?? While it keeps flashing for at least 6 hours, it got substantially dimmer after an hour or so. The visible angle is only about 120 degrees so better get 3 or more for full 360 coverage. Overall function is fine and it flashes 3 rapid flashes every 2-3 seconds.

Not adequate for FAA regulation night use
This is simply not bright enough to be seen for 3 nautical miles for Part 107 night flight. I'd be surprised if it could be seen for 1 nm. Battery life is not great either, and needed to be recharged every few flights. Bought a Firehouse Tech strobe to replace it. It is MUCH brighter, and I have yet to need to recharge it after several flights.

Strobe NO More....
Very disappointed - the product is very poor quality will not survive a fall if it comes away from the velcro provided., the velcro provided is flimsy and will come off mid flight - the one I ordered did not survive the very first flight out. Do yourself a favor and look for something you ca y permanent stick on.

Great light for night flying your drone.
Works very nice for night time drone flying. I wrapped the provided band around my landing gear and placed the light in the front. You can see the light a mile away in the dark so you can tell which way is front on your drone. A+

Poor Range of view! On a good day it last under 1 hour.
I understand what the micro usb port is for, what are the other ports for. I would like to try it and post a real review, how about INSTRUCTIONS in ENGLISH that is understandable.
