Do these gloves only work for neutral grips only? If I use a strong grip will the alignment still work correctly?

No. The purpose of the glove is to move you from a neutral position to a strong position, unless you already have a strong grip. The purpose of the two blue spots is to get the left hand into a strong position. This also influences the right hand, moving it further to the right or under. The glove also influences getting the shaft into the fingers on the left hand rather than the palm.
