I travel a lot. I am frequently traveling for a month or more and I need to have a durable and compact travel bag. eBags has created products that are perfect for my needs. They are expandable, durable, and really well thought out. I have 9 eBags suitcases in total... all from the motherlode range. These bags have taken some severe abuse from my travels and I have only ever had one issue where a bag was ruined by an airline. The bag looks small, but it has a huge capacity. I use travel cubes in conjunction with the suitcase and that lets me organize everything and keep things compact. The only part that some people don't like is that this bag is not on casters and it needs to be dragged. This is great for keeping the bag strong, but it also means that you are taking some of the weight of the bag when you pull it. I tried another eBags suitcase that was on casters and it was an inferior product.

Outstanding piece of luggage. I can not see finding a better piece of equipment for the money.I bought this after getting (and LOVING) the eBags TLS Professional slim laptop backpack- I am happy to say, I now have all the luggage I could ever possibly need. The backpack has a panel that slips right over the pullout handle to make it easier to get through the check-in lines at the airport with both bags. The combo looks fantastic together- very professional.The nylon is super heavy duty- all zippers are YKK (high quality zippers, same ones you find on Levi jeans) and stitched in a way to prevent tooth damage. All the cloth handles are very secure and have suspension built in so they tuck away flush when not being used. All of the zippers have lock eyelets, there are also a few d-ring anchors to keep the zippers in place when locked.It is not advertised as waterproof, however, all the zippers have rolled piping gussets behind them for structural stability and durability- I think if you were to spray this with a water repellent you should be good for making the dash from the car to the door in a monsoon.The interior is full of zippered mesh pockets, and velcro compartment dividers- they do an outstanding job of keeping your packed items where you packed them, rather than wadded up at the bottom of your bag. The interior lining is blaze orange- you may question why, until you realize you can actually find the little do-dads you have stuffed in your bag- seriously clever.I could easily get enough stuff into this bag for a five day extended trip.Even the ID tag is clever- it's very easy to see on the side just above the wheel, but nearly impossible to tamper with without removing the entire contents of the main compartment.Not going to fit in the overhead- must be checked.Only negative I can find with this bag, it doesn't collapse very well for storage even with the support bows removed it's pretty chunky.I also wish the zipper pulls were blacked out like on the laptop bag- but this is really a non-issue.

Overall impressed by the quality and capacity of this suitcase. Wheels roll very smoothly and much easier to take through the airport than my spinner checked bag.Only downside so far is it really needs a side handle. A handle is needed on 1 (or better both) sides when loading in and out of the car and pulling off the baggage claim. Also without the handle a luggage strap slides off. It’s odd that the carry on side has the side handle but the checked size does not.

I purchased this as an upgrade to my 15-year-old luggage. It's light and surprisingly holds a lot, if you use packing cubes. This was such a great buy, that I bought a whole new "wardrobe" of eBags!

Bought this for a 30 day trip with a combination of hot and cold weather. I was amazed at how much I could stuff in this bad boy. Lots of various pockets and packets. The rolling action is seriously smoooove as well.

I travel a lot and purchase luggage every three years because I wear them out from use. I bought the bag due to the excellent reviews. I agree that the bag holds a surprising amount. I used it for a week's worth of clothes, 3 pairs of shoes, toiletries and three hair tools. I was impressed. It rolls well and is made of good quality fabric. The pockets and compartments are really well designed and useful. I am generally happy with the purchase.Items people should be aware of:It's big. It's definitely not a checkable bag.All the cool compartments add weight. When packed, the bag is really heavy. I didn't get that impression watching the website videos on this bag.It doesn't have a bottom handle to help put it in the trunk of the car . I read this complaint in some reviews but didn't really understand it until I purchased the bag. I'm surprised that such a good bag has such an obvious design flaw.The four side latches seem a bit pointless. I don't stuff the bag until its bursting. So I have no use for the latches. It's annoying to have to unlatch them when you need to quickly enter the bag. If i could do it again, i would purchase the Ebag luggage style that doesn't come with the side latches.Not a huge deal, but the instructions reference a web site that shows how to put the wires reinforcements into the side of the bag. However the website in the instruction booklet no longer works. I had to go track the video down to figure out how to put the luggage together.

This is my second bag and me and my husband have both this suitcase and the backpack. I have stuffed this full and zippers are sturdy. Absolutely love these bags.
