Buy longer than you need because the outer layer of about 10" may have some scratches. I needed 42x78 but bought 42x120 because it was actually cheaper.. probably a pricing anomaly. Inner core was curled tighter and need some blow drying to get soft so I can curl the opposite way. It was hard to cut with regular scissors but I got it done. I'm using the leftover 40" under my office chair and it looks great. I don't mind a few scratches there. The 78" is clean with no scratches and lays almost flat on my dining table. I deducted one star because the 42" width actually measures 42 and five-eighths. I didn't want to cut the long way so am hoping it'll shrink over time as one reviewer said.

It came rolled and it was so difficult to remove the “waves.” Eventually, I was able to straighten it up a little bit with iron and heat gun. I placed a towel underneath and a bed sheet on top and then ironed it. Then I touched it up with a heat gun. I wonder if the heat gun alone would’ve worked. It’s not perfect, and it’s not as good as it appears in the picture, but at least it wasn’t as bad as it was. Maybe I could’ve gotten the thicker one, but I didn’t know I had that option.

I think this cover looks great and is easy to clean. The reason I rated it a 4 was due to the price. It's a little pricey.

I would definitely purchase from them again! ***I purchased and put this Lovepad on my table a month ago. The ripples where everywhere. Tried a hair dryer...tried putting a table on top of the pad (on top of the table) for weeks; still the ripples persist. Does anyone have suggestions? I assume since we had to cut this to fit our table that we can’t return it.

This is a very nice piece of vinyl! Having said that, this is what I got for my 38”x60” wooden kitchen: approximately 38.5”x60.5.” This means that I need to neatly and accurately trim about a half inch off of 2 sides. And this means that I have to take it to a professional because I’m not going to risk damaging it. ALSO, two sides are a perfect cut and two are wavy cuts, so we will have to trim off the bad sides. A hefty price to pay for imperfection. What’s worse is they know they are not giving what they advertise. The product is unfinished and faulty. Maybe Home Depot can cut it down for me.

This is a great clear cover for a table because it doesn't slide around and prevents damage to the table. It's very easy to clean. Only downside is that it gets a lot of bubbles underneath so it isn't exactly smooth appearing.

This is hands down the best purchase we’ve ever made! We Recently bought a new kitchen and dinning room table and this has saved us from disaster on more then one occasion! We have two toddlers and our new table would have already been ruined from spills so many times if we didn’t have this protective cover! It’s awesome and would def recommend it. Absolutely worth the money!

Really happy with the product, the mat is perfect for my antique dining room table. It doesn't smell, it covers the table perfectly, no bubbles and it's great for everyday use when the kids do their homework. (I roll it away when I entertain and eat on the table) my only gripe is that tape and stickers bond to the surface and leave their glue/residue behind. Found out the hard way with kids doing arts and crafts.
