While at the waterpark recently, my 9 yr old ended up with a sting. The two lifeguards who helped us both had these swabs in their first aid pouches. After removing the stinger, one of the guards broke one of these open, and started swabbing the sting vigorously. The medicine soothed my daughter's pain quickly, to where I could tell she was crying more from the fright than the pain itself. We were also able to keep using it for a while after the lifeguards left us, because there was enough medicine left to continue treating the area. Not only did it soothe the sting, she had far less swelling than she's experienced with bug stings before.I was impressed with this product so much that I came home and ordered some right away to have on hand for myself. It spoke volumes to me that the lifeguards use them. This was not our first sting, but I've never had other home treatments work so well before. I will always keep these swabs on hand now.

These soothe stings like nothing else! I bought this box to have a bunch on hand in case the kids or I run into stinging things outdoors. I was so glad to have them on hand when my 5 year old daughter was attacked by a swarm of wasps. She got stung badly 5 times and was screaming in pain. I grabbed a swab as quick as I could and swabbed all the stings. One tube was enough for me to generously spread the pain med on all 5 stings. It worked really fast and was calming her down almost instantly.

These helped a little for my stings and bites, but not enough to get enthusiastic about. My friend was bitten (not sure by what) and his skin came up in welts, so he tried one before going to bed. All better next morning. So maybe it depends on body chemistry, or what you were bitten or stung by? I don't know but it's worth a try. I'm buying more of these as a gift for my friend.

I was given a few from a neighbor, and ordered these to replace because they work great and soothe the worst of our hornet, bee and wasp stings. I had no idea how great these work until my neighbor shared some with me. I had to go get some for myself. I can't recommend these enough!!

I carry these in my jeep, my wife's car and keep then around the house. These are the best sting relief items I have found. Having two active kids ya gotta be ready. Within minutes the tears go away and by the next day there is generally only a small mark to show where the bite/sting was.They are awesome for mosquito bites as well. My son started taking them to bit scout camp because it's the only thing we have found that works.

Purchased these over a less expensive product because the description stated these are .6 cc. They are actually .5 cc - same as the less expensive (but exactly the same formulation) ... so buy the cheaper version and save yourself about $2 and you'll get the same thing as these. It's a description problem - because you can clearly see from the box that it's 1/2 ml (.5 cc). Just wasn't paying that much attention to details I guess. I figured it was worth the difference to get MORE ... but I got scammed by the description. Otherwise, I'd give it 5 stars even though I haven't had to use one yet ... but have used the same type and formula of swab for about 50 years. My Grandfather was a lineman and they had these in their 1st Aid kits. Won't help an allergic reaction, but do help take the 'sting' out of a bee or wasp bite/sting. I'll be buy more - but this time it will be the cheaper 10 packs.
