Love it, amazing RC , used for recreational.

Stock gears shred steel upgrade gears weld dont hold well and makes vehicle unusable
Car is actually great but built with inferior parts. Spur gear spreads easily, so I got steel upgrade. Installed with set screw 2 runs at the park the gear on the motor spun and welded the gear to the motor and searched for 2 weeks and can't find a replacement motor anywhere?

Plastic gear servo, proprietary stuff
For $1000 this should have a much better servo. It's all plastic and weaker than a 1/10 cheap Chinese basher servo. Not only that, but the servo shape and size is proprietary to Traxxas. Should have had a normal 1/5 servo. Otherwise the rc car is pretty awesome, but not very hobbyist friendly. Made from so much plastic you would think it would be priced better also.
