4 stars
Only reason why I give it 4 stars is because I bodice it takes longer to get a reading compared to the battery operated ones. I use this for work. It holds a charge all I don't worry to much about it. The display is bright and I'm able to read it. Overall it's pretty goodI did great it worth my other battery operated ones and I got the same readings

Rated BEST in comparison of three brands/models
I own (3) different brands/models of Fingertip Pulse Oximeters (one in my home gym (for cardiovascular workouts), one on my bedside table, and one at my desk). All three include a lanyard. All three models reported the exact same pulse rate, or at times only 1 BPM different, in all tests where taken at various times and under various conditions. Here's my comparison review of the three devices, ranked as GOOD, BETTER, and BEST:~~~~~~~~~~~~~Rated #1 BEST: LBEAURG model TY-05 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter (ASIN: B0BSBZS9F1)PERFORMANCE:(1) Of the three models, this one is (by far) the FASTEST to achieve and settle on steady readings, every time. Super fast, compared to the other two models.(2) The display numbers are large and bright, easily readable. The numbers are like those of a digital clock, displayed in 7 vertical or horizontal bars, and are monotone grayish white.(3) This model shows a blood oxygen O2 reading that is usually 1% or sometimes 2% HIGHER than the other two models. I'm not sure which is correct, but this LBEAURG model is one year newer than the Santamedical unit I tested, and four years newer than the Acc U Rate model I tested, which might explain the difference (maybe a cleaner lens on the newer unit).FEATURES:(1) no-button measurement (insert your finger and it automatically starts).(2) internal rechargeable lithium battery (included, along with a separate USB charging cable). I contacted Seller to ask the recommended charging time; they said the battery capacity is 200 mAh, and a one-hour recharge is sufficient for a very long standby time.(3) it has a BATTERY LEVEL indicator (for low power, and for charging) on the display screen.~~~~~~~~~~~~~Rated #2 BETTER: Santamedical model SM-1100S Generation 2 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter (ASIN: B000ORVXPA)PERFORMANCE:(1) This model is much SLOWER than the BEST model (above) to achieve and settle on steady readings.(2) Of the three models, this one's display has the brightest and easiest to read numbers. The display numbers are large and bright, using a solid, bold font, in two colors (yellow and blue).FEATURES:(1) it has a display that can be re-oriented in any direction, by progressively clicking the START button.(2) uses two AAA batteries (included)(3) it has a BATTERY LEVEL indicator on the display screen.(4) includes a rugged nylon carrying case with a Velcro closure, and a built-in belt loop, and a hook loop (for a carabiner, not included)~~~~~~~~~~~~~Rated #3 GOOD: Acc U Rate model 430-DL Premium Fingertip Pulse Oximeter (ASIN: B074R9DCMY)PERFORMANCE:(1) Even with fresh batteries, this model has the dimmest screen (and most difficult to see numbers).(2) This model is much SLOWER than the BEST model (above) to achieve and settle on steady readings.(3) This model always displayed a blood oxygen O2 reading 2% or 3% LOWER than the other two models. Note that this model is a few years older than the other two models tested, so that possibly contributed to the discrepancy.FEATURES:(1) it has a display that can be re-oriented in any direction, by progressively clicking the START button.(2) uses two AAA batteries (included)(3) includes a rugged nylon carrying case with a Velcro closure, and a built-in belt loop, and a hook loop (for a carabiner, not included)

Terrible to get on - Pinches finger - Customer Service OUTSTANDING
Buy a different one. It may be accurate but it is difficult to get on your finger, or anyone else’s if you are assisting. When taking it off it will snap and pinch the end of your finger. Do not recommend.UPDATE - 4 stars for Customer Service and new product. The customer service I have recorded to resolve this was astounding! I may not recommend this specific item but I highly recommend the seller.

Spend a little more
I gave this 4 stars for the seller's performance. Shipping was timely, and price was good. The device is a bit awkward to use, and can be tricky to position for a reading. My MD suggested I not buy the cheapest one, so I bought a mid-priced unit. I wish I had spent a bit more, but that's on me and not the seller.

Ordered for my mother in law who is knewly on O2
So I bought this in a panic as my mother in law moved in with us after leaving a 2 week hospital stay. She was on a low setting of Oxygen but her Dr wanted her to try weaning herself off as much as possible...but this made me very nervous. I ordered this the day she left hospital. I got the order very quick within a couple days And it has been a life saver. She wears it when she is not needing Oxygen but it will let us know if she is needing it again too without her health going down. I love that it is rechargeable but it stays charged a very long time! I can't say enough good things. We may even order a 2nd as back up.

So Far I Like It
Ordered this rechargeable Oxygen sensor about a month ago. I actually order this and a different, non rechargeable one to compare them. The other one got returned due to pulse inaccuracy. This unit seems to be accurate on my pulse. I assume my O2 is accurate based on the pulse being accurate. It charges quick, seems well built and I like the soft blue color I got. There was another review saying it was hard to open it to get your finger in, but found no need to open it completely. I just squeeze it a little - push my finger right in and it self starts. Same to remove it. I like that it’s not flopping around on my finger. Time will tell the long term reliability but this sensor passed my 30 day test and I’d recommend giving it a try.

Not living up to claims
I have had several oxymeters ( I keep losing them ) and they all sensed their' orientation and rotated the display readings so they would appear upright. I mistakenly assumed that all oxymeters did this. Apparently, many including this one, do not. Holding you hand out, palm out, so you can read the results right-side-up, is difficult. I have Dupoytrens so for me it is virtually impossible. That is my personal problem, but this fails on several other issues. The advertised picture is obviously doctored. The display is neither that bright nor are the digits nearly that large ( fat widthwise ). Very difficult to read outdoors. Also, the 30 day standby seems totally wrong. Mine needed recharging after two days and perhaps 5 or 5 uses (readings). Finally, there is no on-switch. It is supposed to turn on automatically when you insert your finger. After only three days, it senses my finger(s0 maybe one out of four or five tries. I know that this is an inexpensive item but that doesn't mean it doesn't have to perform as claimed. This item clearly does not.
