GTFL Wheelchair Tyre Fitting Lever

This was used by my Grandad to change the tyres on my grans wheelchair. Made the job simple quick and easy. Would highly recommend! On a completely separate note he has also used it for de-icing there upstairs freezer. I know it is not made for this but just proves how sturdy this is. They had built up ice from a few years and this did not break.

I received a second hand wheelchair which needed new wheels which I purchase earlier at a bargain price of £38, anyway back to the fitting... I tried several attempts to fit the wheels on without success so I ended up looking at youtube to see where I was going wrong, turns out I needed tie wraps and this tool, well I bought some tie wraps and used this tool, it was tough going as before but I persevered and I did it!!...I was over the moon finally!!.....only took a fraction of the Time as well, the tool is definitely invaluable for fitting wheels but you will need tie wraps as well to secure as you ease the wheel round the rim, I would recommend to any user thinking of replacing wheels ...

Works very well as solid tyres are generally very difficult to put on the rim. Once I mastered the technique it took us only a few minutes to get the tyre on with this tool. You need two people though, one person to hold the tyre to the rim and the other to lever the last bit on.

GREAT, proved invaluable the first time used to replace wheelchair tyres for solid ones - just used 5 reusable cable ties and job done in 4 mins. Arrived on time, in good condition, ready for use.

Essential tool for replacing solid front wheelchair tyres. Still difficult and a vice or G-clamp makes it easier. First took 3 or 4 minutes then the second one just 1 minute, having got the knack for it.
