I used to use a magnetic funnel to control the grounds for distribution and tamping, but had to switch after learning that my new IMS basket was non-magnetic. So after looking at a LOT of options here, I chose this one primarily because of the extra-long locking slots to engage the portafilter tabs. I have been very impressed with this choice. It locks onto the basket securely and effortlessly, and doesn't disturb the grounds when removed as the magnetic funnel sometimes would. It actually makes WDT distribution easier, as the sidewalls are higher. I doubt I would go back to the magnetic style again even if I could. Highly recommended!

These funnels greatly reduce the mess of grinding coffee into my Breville Braista's portafilter. My first one was plastic. It worked, but always vibrated loose. Basically, I had to stand at the machine and hold it on. Eventually, it broke. This replacement holds onto the portafilter much better and ground coffee doesn't stick to it as much either. Very sturdy aluminum construction. You'll like it.

Took a month from ordering to arrive. Great fit to the Breville Portafilter and aligned tabs, little janky to trigger dosage switch given balance but able to fill and tamp with minimal effort, and no spillage. Miminal cost to save coffee grounds and messy counter.

The funnel works well with my Barista Touch Impress model. When I got it, the attachment to the portafilter was slightly loose. However, the three tabs that hook into the portafilter can be bent with a slight pressure to grab the filter perfectly.

I previously had a heavier more expensive funnel that did not screw onto the portafilter - just sat on top. When I got this one I was worried about how light it was by comparison - it seemed cheap. But the truth is I love how it screws on with a small twist and is much more secure, and the lightness is not a disadvantage at all. It is a perfect match for my 1ZPresso grinder canister. I can knock out the canister into the portafilter without fear and all the grinds come out with a few taps. I really like this setup.

Fits tight, keeps grounds from flying everywhere. Just don't wash it in the dishwasher. It ends up losing it's shiny luster after that. It is aluminum after all. I should've known better. But it still works!

I never realized how much coffee I was losing until I started using a dosing funnel. It fits snugly on my portafilter, keeps every gram of ground coffee where it belongs, and makes distribution and WDT much easier.

Never lose precious grounds again so will save you money over time and just keep your station cleaner! Love that it is stainless too cause I have seen some plastic ones too but this will last longer.
