I’ve used a competitor brand for many, many years and even though it became increasingly expensive, I kept using it. Then I noticed this Viking brand Hair Gel and took a chance it might work just as well. Boy was I surprised and very pleased. Not only does it hold all day it has a fresh fragrance and stays pliable longer in my hand as I style my hair. I love this product. Even though it sparkles right out of the tube it doesn’t sparkle in my hair. Dries quickly once applied to my hair. I know the product is for men but it works wonderfully for women as well. Thanks for such a great product at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

A great value at 10oz for the price! Hold is strong, styles well and rinses out with just water easily. The scent doesn’t fade fairly quickly, but is unexpected since many of the other Viking products have more masculine/earthy scents (ie; sandalwood, sweet tobacco, spiced vanilla). ***Update: Their customer service did respond ASAP so they seem very in-touch with their consumers. Maybe someday soon they’ll develop one with a scent based on their other products***

I saw this hair product while scrolling Amazon for gel to purchase when I came across this hair gel and it caught my eye because I use a beard oil that has the word "Viking" in it, so after reading some reviews I decided to get it and WOW!!!!!! I'm so stoked that I got this hair get because not only does it smell terrific it holds and is solid all day long without having to use more, plus if for any reason I mess it up little I just wer my hands and run it through my hair and it softens up then dries solid all over again...If I could give 10 stars I would, now I want I'm excited to try the beard products!!!💪🏻💪🏻

If I could give this 4.5 stars I would. the product works great. just as advertised. no flakes. good hold. BUT, it has a slight unusual hair oil smell... it's only been a week, so maybe i'll get used to it. i hope. lol

My son wanted this gel for his hair. If you would like your hair as hard as a rock - this gel is for you! Just a little bit goes a long way and will have your hair plastered down and looking soaking wet. It appears to have glitter in it when it's in the bottle but when it's on your hair you can see it at all. It also does not have a blue tint to it in your hair either. As soon as he starts sweating the gel loosens up at disappears. For my 8 year old's hair before school .. it works .. but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone whose serious about fixing their hair.

My husband has been using this gel for many years! he loves it. It's not heavy light weight. He has short hair so it's perfect. Not sticky

Extremely watery and definitely not a firm hold. I sent this back to Amazon.

Goes on really smooth, not too wet or greasy like others at the same dollar value.Dries quick, which I think is important.
