Norton 69936687444 Flattening Stone with Diagonal Grooves for Waterstones, Coarse Grit Silicon Carbide Abrasive, Superbly Flat with Hard Bond, Plastic Case, 9" x 3" x 3/4"

Most lower priced options sometimes come bent from the factory and can be a lottery. This was perfectly flat. It remains priced on the lower end but does the job well. Decent size, overall a good flattening stone. Would buy again.

Excellent

this Norton flattening stone? Straight-up gotta have it if you're messin' with waterstones. It's a rough and tough stone that gets your sharpening stones flat, quick. And that's, like, super important if you don't want your edges comin' out all wonky. The lines on it? They help get rid of all the gunk when you're flattenin'. Plus, they throw in a little holder thing and a case, which is pretty sweet for keepin' things tidy and stable. Made down in Mexico, this thing's totally useful and key for keepin' your waterstones in top-notch shape. This review represents my personal opinion and experience with this product. Instructions were included. Flattened my slightly saddled 450 grit whetstone. Took abt 15min. The edges of the whetstone lost small little chips, but I think that should not affect its use. Like the fact that it comes with a storage case. Didn't like the fact that Amazon stuck a label on it with a full wraparound of wide cellophane tape that left a sticky residue all over. I ended up cellophane taping the container so that it doesnt stick to other things I stack on it in storage.

Llegó sin golpes, tal como se específica en la descripción del producto Gracias

First time I have used a flattening ..... does a great job.

It quickly smoothed out my wetstone, just as advertised. Very happy with it.
