Not true to size, if you don't have a sewing machine and want to put work into it, don't purchase this.I expected a very basic item, but the elastic on one side broke on the second use. The bottom is slightly shorter than the top. The bars just make no sense at all, but now are unusable since I had to sew new elastic on just to make it functional again. 2 pieces have broken now, and I expect the other ratty looking ones will also.I probably should have just made my own, but I thought I'd take a shot. It did save me time and materials. So, there's that. But, I wouldn't purchase a replacement either.

This definitely stops my dog from going up stairs but it’s a very thin material and if he wanted to could easily destroy it. I wouldn’t buy if your dog is a large bread or very energetic you might want something a litter for sturdy. Also not kid proof

I bought this originally for my crazy puppy but whether it is a dog or toddler, they can definitely get through the or bottom by just lifting it up. It also does not stay on the hooks very well. It is a sturdy net, just not the best option.

Bought this to put in front of staircase. Size and concept good, but side tabs (all 4) ripped apart after only 2 days. Poor quality. If the side tabs were made well, this would do the job.

I opened this package and it was missing the hooks. The whole purpose was to keep pets out of kids' rooms but the hooks was one of the main reasons I ordered it. By the time we opened the package, no instructions included and no hardware. Ended up throwing it away because when i tried to replace the hardware, I was asked to put product in original packaging and send back. Didn't have the original packaging and didn't want to go through the work to dig it back out.

The set up of this is very friendly to a rental or door you don't want to mess up with conventional attachment methods, I added an extra hoop and sewn on loop on each middle side. This is mesh, you can take it off when ever or leave it hanging on one side. Easy hook on and off. Like the design, just need more sticky hooks, thank goodness for command strip hooks. so far so good, but time will tell.

This item is fantastic, Rated 4 stars because the sides that lock on the door way could have been a little more sturdy

This is the worst product I ever bought off of Amazon in 20 years. Not only did it not work, it caused damage to my walls. Thanks for nothing.
