Works pretty well! Long term review coming soon :)
The media could not be loaded. Just finished our 2-week vlog with this; and oh boy, this suction cup (4122) has some amazing grip! Tested with the SmallRig articulating arm (2065B - bought separately on their webstore), and a 360º phone-holder from Ulanzi (bought separately on Amazon). This 'rig' holds the newest iPhone 16 Pro with a wireless microphone receiver (in my case, it's the Hollyland Lark M2) with no issues! In the video, you see it in controlled environments inside my room. However, the vlog that I was talking about; well. we went to Sikkim and this setup performed really well through the bumpy roads there, while being inside the running car (attached on a window pane) and of-course, like a breeze while in smoother conditions like inside a running train (provided it was the Vande Bharat with newer glasses and surfaces which are relatively cleaner. I'd say; do carry a sanitising wipe just-in-case, if you find yourself in a situation where the surface is less-than-ideal).The suction strength is really solid, and overall, the footage comes out nice and steady (w.r.t. the anchor point). it's a nice product. As expected from SmallRig, happy with the purchase! You do need to purchase a Magic Arm or an Articulating Arm separately, like I did, to be able to actually use the product. These things are modular, so some research is needed when you're shooting at this level and with dedicated equipment. Is it a bit expensive and confusing at the beginning? Sure. However, it's totally worth it in the longer run.Cheers and all the best!
