– Stoneware Cafetière French Press with Stainless Steel Plunger, 1 Litre, Serves 3-4 Cups, Caribbean

I’d had several cheaper coffee presses one of which let me down after only a week or so when the glass just fell out and smashed in the sink! I wish I’d bought this Le Creuset one to start with! I was a bit surprised it was made in China (what isn’t though!!) but the quality is top notch though and is obviously made to their high standards. It’s a pleasure to use and look at for that matter! Obviously its a little heavier that steel or glass ones so that might be an issue for anyone with impaired wrist strength, a litre of coffee is basically 1kg plug the jug of course. That said just for me I generally only make 1/2 a pot at a time (4 scoops of coffee for a half and 8 for a full pot) definitely recommend this coffee press over cheaper offerings any day!!

Just perfect! Best coffee filter, coffee stays hot for a long time, great quality, so worth the money. I don’t know how it’s possible but coffee tastes so much better.

Beautiful and does good size but enough for 2 regular mugs, if you use espresso cups probably about 4 cups. I did partially buy this as opposed to a cheaper glass one as the reviews said it retained its heat well, the French press itself does but the coffee inside even with the lid on, not so much, I filled it and then prepped some food and it was kinda warm not hot after about 15-20 mins. So only a bit disappointed in that sense but otherwise its good, I did pay more specifically for that so I would say it is a bit over priced but its a nice looking cafetiere, it filters well, easy to clean, decent size and would make a good jug too for cooler drinks, seems durable but I am careful with it as it is still ceramic so i don't want to bash it into anything to test lol. Just make sure you drink your coffee quicker than me.

This matches my kitchen perfectly and as it was recommend by the Telegraph testers, it was tested amongst all of the most expensive and some cheaper ones, the reviews were good so I brought it to try for myself, I was also very keen on the colour. The plunger goes down smoothly, which was important and there were only a tiny few coffee grounds in the mug I did put hot water in it first, thinking I always warm a teapot so why not a coffee pot, it held the heat well. It's a good size. It was easy to clean, the reduced price was an added bonus, now I need more of the matching mugs to go with it. I like the look of it so much that at the moment it's living on my hob.

Le Creuset things are well made and always beautiful. We splashed out on this cafetière thinking that it would be harder wearing and longer lasting than others we used. We drink a lot of coffee. One of the big pluses of this model is that the ceramic nature keeps the coffee lovely and warm so, in the unlikely event that there is any left, you can have a second cup at a late date and it is still perfectly acceptable drinking temperature. As parents of little ones, this is an excellent accidental feature! However, we dropped the lidded part and it smashed. We also accidentally chipped the lip a tiny bit for pouring although this has not affected the usage at all. We sought hard to try and find a replacement as it looks possible from the make up of the french press part of the cafetière to be able to do this. Sadly, we have not yet found one at all. We felt that Amazon sells this cafetière at a good price and it has kept us well caffeinated for many months but we wish you could buy the parts separately for it if it gets broken.

Does the job. Helps to make great coffee and maintains heat. Easy to wash.

I use this for myself at the office and can easily get 2-3 big cups of coffee out of it. The colour is fantastic and it's really easy to clean. It gets a lot of compliments too :)

Great quality, excellent heat retention, and easy to clean. I have a matching cups the green gradients match perfectly giving the morning coffee ritual and upscale aesthetic.
