stila Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer

It's hard to choose colors over the internet and I chose poorly. It's not exactly my shade but if I get a bit of a tan, it will work out, I suppose. It's really too yellow for my skin tone. It would be nice if the company had a sample card you could order so we could get a better match. I hear Ulta sells this and if the next bottle I just ordered is wrong, I'll return it and get it from there after someone skin-color matches me. It's nice and creamy and a little goes a long way. I LOVE the concealer. LOVE, LOVE it! Stays out of my wrinkles and covers well, again with very little.

Great coverage, light coverage for a natural look

Bare shade is almost identical to Estée Lauder 1n1 double wear and to Clinique beyond perfecting 0.5 . This foundation is the holy grail for me. The top opens up and has concealer in it which is PERFECT and the liquid foundation is just genius with the little pump. The shade is perfect on me and it stays all day. Addicted to it

The foundation itself may have been fine as far as formula goes. Unfortunately I've never had the chance to properly test it out because even the lightest shades are way too dark. I probably shouldn't expected much from a product that has such a poor shade range, though. That being said, the second bottle I ordered (tried a shade lighter) was used! Obvious finger prints I'm the concealer, and foundation all over the top when I opened up the lid. Just bad all around.

The concealer isn't worth using. The foundation however. If you want FULL coverage and to have flawless looking skin, this is the way to go. It's also very hydrating too. Great for dry skin.

This makeup is light and gives excellent coverage! Stila hit a home run with this product. The packaging presents well & is so easy & convenient without taking up a lot of space. Good for everyday or that special night out. Love it!

Stays on all day! No caking, beautiful foundation

Does not last all day and coverage is very light.

My favourite foundation at the moment, quite full coverage so a little goes a long way. A relatively good range of shades and the finish is semi matte and long wearing. Blends well but you need to work quickly.

As a rule of thumb nowadays, I think you should look at the bad reviews first. That's not because I'm a harsh reviewer, but because I've been stung so many times by frothing reviews only to find that I agree much more with the few bad reviews a product receives. Case in point. This is a terrible foundation! It's very, very orange. I got 'bare' and the swatches were 50/50 on giving me hope or causing me worry... nope, this is orange. The concealer is extremely thick, waxy and orange, I didn't even try it. The foundation looks ok, but is orange on the face. It's also sheer and yet thick, and oily. To get a decent coverage, you'd need to layer this to the point where you looked like you had a coat of paint on your face. And yet, even with so little coverage, it is so thick and claggy on the face. I heard it was good for oily skin and think nowadays people don't know what oily skin is, because my oil slick rapidly rejected this mess from my skin in a shiny gloop. It's so horrible. I never heard anyone talk about this foundation, it lurked at the bottom of Boots' webpage and various shady makeup sites... and yet I'd heard of the brand, so with the glowing reviews, I thought it was a hidden gem. No, this is just a bad product. It's horrible in every way. And it's expensive. If you have oily and/or textured skin, are pale, need make-up with coverage, need make-up that doesn't look like a thick gloopy layer on your skin, need make up that lasts, or just don't want to look awful... stay far, far away from this foundation.
