You need this if you want to back up your photos while travelling. This is a great solution to a huge problem - data security while a long way from home. If you shoot RAW you'll never back those up via your phone / cloud account from a hotel room off the beaten track. This is a compact, effective solution to a huge problem. Peace of mind in a box.

This memory card was absolutely useless. It repeatedly prompted me to delete existing files before allowing new uploads, which completely defeats the purpose of a memory card. No normal, functioning memory card should behave like this. The device was unreliable, confusing to use, and caused genuine concern about data loss. I was worried files could be overwritten or deleted without warning. This makes it unsafe for storing photos, videos, or anything important. I followed instructions correctly, but the product simply does not work as expected. It feels poorly designed and not fit for purpose. I would not recommend this to anyone who values their data.

Having seen a previous review about the device not working with his phone, I checked with Rufus that it would be compatible with my OnePlus15 phone. Rufus told me it was: Rufus was wrong. The app needed to run the drive could be installed on my ancient phones [all now consigned to the great recycling bin in the sky, even on my fiio digital audio player but not it seems on my brand new phone. Had to return it. A great shame as it seemed like a good idea if it worked.

La aplicación no te permite encontrar los archivos de manera sencilla, no se puede conectar fácilmente a Windows, el respaldo deja los archivos en un fichero escondido y probablemente encriptado, por lo que si no los ves desde el mismo teléfono, prácticamente imposible verlos. Se vende como una solución cuando es más problema que un disco duro tradicional al que le compras un cable Micro-B a USB-C para conectarlo. No recomiendo, yo lo devolví

I tried other brands before purchasing this one and had to return them all because you either had to pay for storage, which is absurd considering you’re paying for the back up drive or it was simply too complex for a phone back up drive. This back up drive however, is incredibly easy and efficient to operate. It works quickly even whenever you have 10,000 photos. The storage capacity is great. Super simple to get started, you simply download the app and plug it in the connectivity is easy as can be. I don’t feel I will need another one of these for a very long time. It’s overall an awesome product.
