Brought this product to see if it’d help my springer spaniel’s anxiety during the new year with all the fireworks going off, seemed to work a bit but I wasn’t officially sold on it until workmen came to replace our windows today, my boy was getting very stressed, having difficulties with his breathing and I was getting really concerned but then I remembered I had some of these left so I gave him one, they kicked in pretty quickly, he’s no longer barking his head off, was able to go out and pee, is breathing normally and cuddling up with my younger brother for his regular nap even with all the noise and chaos. They’re not a permanent solution for anxiety but work amazing in unplanned noisy situations such as this. I would definitely recommend!

For my older dog, who had symptoms very much like dementia, these have made such a difference. He did have episodes during the day, but night time was always the worst. He would wake up panting, pacing around, anxious, and nothing I did seemed to settle him. It could last the entire night.Since trying these, the change has been amazing. We’re all finally sleeping through the night again, with no constant pacing or barking. They are pricey, but for the peace and a full night’s sleep, they’ve been worth every penny.

Tried these with my dog who has anxiety in evenings unless sleeping in with me. Don't see any real difference after using them for a few weeks.

Our excitable bold puppy become a fearful and anxious adolescent after she ran away and was missing overnight. We have tried various behavioral training techniques which will obviously take time, however our dog continued to display signs of stress throughout the day and this culminated in her wakening numerous times throughout the night. Since starting the Zylkene capsules I have noticed that she seems somewhat more relaxed (she is still a nervous dog but seems more inclined to lay down and rest comfortably), she also wakes less during the night; either making it the whole night or waking only once compared to three or four times! Overall, I think these are working well for our dog, although I am going to try her with a weeks break after 20 days and see how she is to compare.

Our elderly rescue came with these pills being anxious after spending a year in kennels before coming with us. Little did everyone know that she had started with dog dementia. I believe these pills work well for a healthy dog that needs support when anxious traveling or during fireworks, Millie however needed a different type of drug for her troubles. I do think they are very expensive and can't help but fell we are being charged dog tax.

Unfortunately, another calming supplement that hasn't helped our Collie.He has a fear of the Wheelie bin truck, and when the bins are moved around and emptied. We've tried everything over the counter to help him...plug-ins, CDs, sprays, sticky pads, creams, ointments, treats and tablets, and he still shakes like mad when he hears them, even though we have music turned up loud as we dare, without annoying the neighbours.But, when we wheel the bins from the back garden to the front, for collection, he'll run along with us!So unfortunately, more money wasted.

I was advised by vet to give Zylkene 225mg along with 2 Yucalm tablets daily (1 x Yucalm tablet morning 1 x Yucalm tablet early evening and 1 x Zylkene just before bed time) for my older dog who's symptoms were typical of dementia. Although he would have dementia episodes during the day the worst was during the night - he would wake up panting, pacing, anxious, eyes glazed and non responsive to us trying to calm him - this would go on all night. Since taking the Zylkene and Yucalm combined (12 days) he has had what i call 1 dementia episode and a couple of times being unsettled. You can see his is more himself (as he was always anxious and not rested) his eyes don't display that vacant look anymore - but are brighter. When you would take him outside to go to the toilet he would just stand and stare as if to say what am i doing out here - now back to normal when he goes outside and wants to have a little walk about. I pray that these tablets continue to work as it is so disturbing and upsetting for both dog and doggie parents when your dog is experiencing Dementia symptoms.

Iv used these a few times now for my nervous anxious dog I do use the about 2 weeks before fireworks and its settles him down also used for long cat journeys but the really do help
