Nice tasting sauce
No time to make my own homemade demi-glace so ordered these to try and they were very good if you like demi-glace on your meats. I have used a couple other brands before and these are just as good.

OK, but it’s not really demi-glace
If you’re looking for a replacement for the old “demi glace gold” that’s no longer available, sadly this isn’t it. It’s a nice brown sauce, but has a totally different flavor profile than the Gold. It’s also thinner, essentially gravy consistency, not what I would call Demi glace, and has quite a bit of finely chopped stuff (I assume onions, herbs, etc.), so is not something you can add to a sauce or gravy that you want to be smooth. It also has some sweetness, which I do NOT want in my sauce, unless I am explicitly adding that myself. I had to add more salt to try and balance that sweetness. My use was to spruce up my own homemade scratch gravy from stock. Made it work, but I won’t be buying again for this purpose. Back to looking for a “Gold” replacement.

Tasted great 😊
It seemed to have great ingredients but I found it a bit salty. Still it worked well in the dishes I used it for. It was also a darker color than what I expected especially for the roast chicken sauce. For the photo I used the demi-glace and mushroom sauces and made Stoganoff! It was yummy!

I used this Demi Glaze for the first time today. I made Chicken Marsala.It came perfect with such a rich taste! I would highly recommend this sauce for all of your sauce recipes.

Not a Demi glacé
NOT a demi glacé. Do not buy. I didn’t even bother heating it up and definitely was not going to ruin my steaks putting this on them. The reviews here are mixed together for all different sauces, so I was cautious not to read too much into some of the reviews because I believed they were for different products. I even looked at the ingredients and being a pretty good cook myself, I know that the ingredients were not out of line and they are all natural which I thought seemed promising. But I can 100% tell you that if you are looking at the Demi glacé, this is not a traditional one and definitely not worth the money. Just smelling it upon opening it I could tell you that it was not going on my steak. There are many visible herbs, and it is not that nice velvety, supple, rich texture of a demi glacé. It is totally overpowering with thyme, garlic and black pepper, and thin and watery. It appears more like soup and smells like it too. Possibly consider if you’re looking for a sauce espanol, definitely not a demi. And I can’t even return it- I’m just out the $13

Delicious
Used in a Hello Fresh recipe that called for glace, it’s rich and good flavor. My husband used the leftover as gravy and said it was good too!

Excellent with a bit of help
Great taste if you know how to prepare it. I dilute it with a little stock, usually chicken, and add liberal splashes of good red wine. Season with a few grinds of black pepper and reduce for a few minutes. Not salty. Makes a really nice umami-meaty-forward sauce or gravy.
