Having installed glass protectors on iPads, a Surface Pro and various phones I’ve learned that the installation processes can be very frustrating….mainly alignment and dust. I went through all the iterations to set-up the perfect install environment, you know, washed my hands, cleaned the counter, stopped breathing, etc, etc. And other than reading the instructions and watching the videos I make it a point to read people’s reviews for “tips and tricks”…there are some really clever people out there and I’ve found that learning from their trials and errors saves me lots of frustration. I, like many Axon 7 owners have the Spigen rugged case. As is the norm it was the reviewer’s “tips and tricks” on Amazon that simplified (as in “no-brainer”) the installation process…the install was flawless! Other than the mandatory screen cleaning and dust control processes I highly recommend these three tips from other reviewers (my thanks to them). 1. Plug in your Axon so that the red charging light is on. 2. Install the screen protector with the Spigen case on your phone, and 3. Install the screen protector from the top of your phone down to the bottom. The red charging light allows you to perfectly align the protector’s light opening with the screen light and leaving the case on allows the screen to fall perfectly between the edges. It took me only one attempt and the screen fit perfectly!! No air bubbles, no rainbow effects and no dust!! Thanks again to the other reviewers for their tips. The Supershieldz screen protector is a high-quality product. It looks great, fits perfectly, the install process was a breeze and the packaging is a very nice plastic case that prevents any damage during shipping. My only problem now is that I have an extra screen protector that I may never need, ha!!

I am very impressed with the entire process of purchasing, installing and getting good use out of this screen protector. My last screen protector, also tempered glass, did a fine job until I accidentally caught one corner of it and it lifted up, leaving an incomplete seal. I don't recall the brand of that protector, but it was time to replace. I found this 2 pack, ordered it and opened it up to install on my phone. I was doing this last minute before taking a motorcycle trip, but opened it up and immediately saw a "stop" warning, advising me to watch an installation video. Not recalling having to do this last time, and being in some what of a hurry, I thought about it but proceeded to listen to their advice. I watched the video--it was a short 2-3 minute video but very thorough and very clever. I followed the video instructions and had it installed on my phone, with no issues, not even on bubble. I couldn't believe that a company selling a product like this, that most people generally have an idea of how it works, chose to put up a video to explain it....was very impressed. They commented in the video how important customer satisfaction is and to contact them with any issues. I had no issues, but felt like I would have good success if I had to call them, seeing how great the service was so far. Then comes the protection piece...I set my phone on the travel bag sitting on my motorcycle's passenger seat. Not realizing it, I leaned my bike over and the phone fell off. It landed screen side down on pebble driveway. I noticed that the protector had cracked, but it looked like the screen was still in good shape. I left it on for the remainder of the trip--got home and removed the screen protector...sure enough, the screen was in perfect condition and the protector did it's job. I feel like this company went out of their way to ensure the satisfaction of the customer, which shows in video instructions, the company's clear message that they are willing to provide necessary customer service--and I think they made a quality product. The proof is in my cracked protector and perfect screen. I put the 2nd one from the pack on (re-watched the video) and I will try to remember not to set this on the back of my motorcycle again (but if I do, I'm anticipating good results from the protector)

Very decent screen protector. Application was very easy - guidelines at the bottom buttons - minor annoyance that at an angle it hides the location. But ZTE was stupid for not making them lit, so at least it's not distracting of a problem. By now we've learned to handle the buttons by feel alone. I like the concept of the black borders - it's an ingenious design concept to compensate for the curved screen. With the default ZTE case, fits perfectly fine with no visible edging. (Well... TBH, it's legit like a sheet or two's worth of printer paper of an edge for all you nit pickers....) Minor touch issues at the edge - will need to see how I adapt to see if its a me or it problem. Every now and then there is a rainbow halo - not sure why or when it happens - only happened twice. very odd. I was charging the one time it was an issue. I would suggest this for anyone leery of screen protectors. The Axon 7 has been awful for them - but this is the best I've found.

After seeing that slot of the tempered glass protectors for the ZTE AXON 7 on Amazon were junk I opted for a 3 pack of plastic ones that had a decent review. After 9 months my supply of screen protectors has ran out and the final one was dinged up with all sorts of gouges and areas where air had gotten through the screen protector from a scratch. I decided to get these Supershieldz on a leap of faith. Four stars but only a few reviewers. Application was fairly easy. Just peeled off old protector(tip: after you lift off your old protector dab the adhesive side of that said protector on the screen to pick up any particles of dust or lint) and then with shallow breaths applied the tempered one. As stated by other reviewers there is a black bezel on the top and bottom. I had prealigned the new protector to make absolutely sure it would fit. I used the lower screen bezel area as my origin point as there is a circle the on the glass protector that would match PERFECTLY with the Home Button- if you're doing it correctly. If not, it's easy to see you are out of alignment. I kept one end(the notification light end} of the screen protector OFF contact with the screen while I nudged to alignment with my fingernail on the home button end. It all came out nicely. No bubbles or lifting observed from this install. I'll update later if anything arises. Oh btw. I was concerned that the notification light was gonna be less visible from now on with this new screen protector as stated by some reviewers. That is NOT true. I can see the lite just as good WITH this new screen protector on. I believe what they're experiencing is a VERY BAD misalignment and not a fault of the product. I keep the phone wrapped in a J&D bumper case. I'll have to wait and see if it causes edge lift.

Quality is really good. It fits the whole screen vertically, from speaker grill to speaker grill, and as much as possible horizontally, due to the curved edge of the phone's screen. However, there is reduced touch sensitivity. I often find myself having to make selections twice. Also, this screen protector does not work great with the Spigen case. It pushes on the outer edges of the case just enough to affect the volume and power buttons, it brings the case slightly away from the buttons so you have to push them harder than normal to engage. For what it's worth, I have the protector installed perfectly center, so installation is not the issue.

I want to say it's a 4.5 out of 5 but we don't have that option. All in all it's a solid 5 stars. The only "flaws" would be that YES, as some other reviewers mentioned, there's a rainbow effect in the center of the screen. This occurs after you leave the phone in your pocket against your leg and the two screens kind of mesh together and leave a little rainbow-ish circle in the center of the screen. Try looking for it with the screen on though and you will not find it. At least, my eyes can't and there's absolutely nothing medically wrong with my eyesight. Screen off and black? Sure. Get over it! Fit is perfect. Only flaw here is to try and do your very best to align it or you'll get a tiny insignificant sliver of the screen cut out on a side or two. Do it in a calm area, don't move much, and hold your breath (all to prevent dust kick up / float, of course). Keep the screen facing down when applying so nothing settles on it after you take the initial protective layer off before applying the glass to the phone itself. I recommend applying from the bottom up aligning the center and "back" And "Apps" buttons up as closely as possible while paying attention to how it's aligning on the sides as you let the top rest into place. Lastly, it must be pretty tough because I took it off about 3 or 4 times (because I'm a perfectionist about these sort of things) to realign it and it didn't crack or break under some flexing (keep it to a minimal!). And! I still have the other one left out of the two pack! All in all, best glass screen protector you will find for this phone! Had two previous Poetic protectors. Great protectors and probably the best for safety and abuse protection but the plastic screens scratched easily and really effected clarity. This protector covers 99% of the screen and brings back that clarity without any noticeable compromise (check the picture. The 1% does't matter, trust me). Highly recommend!

The protector covers the part below the speaker to the bottom of the phone. There is a black border around the phone. The top has a hole for the notification light and notch for the proximity sensor. The bottom has windows for the navigation button. Application was fairly easy. It works better if you have a case, because the case act as a guide to allow you to apply the protector. All you need to do is to line up the holes and windows. However, the first application resulted in a strange rainbow pattern in the middle. Lifting the protector slightly then reapplying it and pressing down in the middle eventually made the rain bow pattern go away. I am guessing that the rainbow pattern was air space. I notice a loss in sensitivity particularly along the left edge. It turns out there was interference with the Spigen case. With the case on, I had to press harder on the left side near the edge to register a press. What appears to be happening is that the screen probably rub against the case and didn't register the click. To fix, I remove the protector and line it up completely so that all of the opening were exact and the issue gone away. If you run into similar issue, try experimenting and removing the case and see if the sensitivity issue goes away. If so you may have to realign the protector so that it is exactly installed and that the one side isn't being caught by the case.

Fitment was perfect, and screen is alot better to use with the glass feeling over the plastic protectors. Screen sensitivity is spot on, and no hazing of rainbow seen as of yet. Edges have been holding up and no peeling. Since it's edge glued and not complete screen, hopefully if it gets shattered, glass shards or slivers don't fall off and cut me or anyone else.. Only time will tell..

I put off buying a screen protector for this phone because I was concerned about fit and the fact that the centre doesn't have any adhesive action to the screen; I was worried that there might be weirdness with a gap or bubbles or something. It turns out my concerns were unfounded. This thing fits like a glove. Like, it's uncannily perfect. I had some concerns about getting it aligned properly, but it wasn't too crazy. It's important to get the bottom aligned properly because there is a little clear circle that needs to align to the one on the phone. It wasn't too hard, but maybe I just got lucky. Either way, if you buy this screen protector, just be sure get the bottom properly aligned. The oleophobic characteristic isn't as strong as the coating I've had on other screen protectors - finger prints do stay a bit more that I would like, but it's easy to clean it off by buffing it on a cotton (like my shirt), or with an alcohol wipe. And keep your fingers clean, LOL! The glare is exactly the same as the original glass, as far as I can tell. So I didn't take off any marks for that. The edges are amazing. They line up in just the right spot along the edge, and they're gently chamfered (beveled) which makes it almost unnoticeable. If you have a case (like the popular one from Spigen), then you won't notice the edge at all; it will seem seamless. One notable thing, the glass is remarkably smooth. Smoother than the original glass. So my finger slides across with much less friction, especially when my fingers are clean and dry. This is mostly a good thing, but is a little weird when playing games that require my fingers to be stable on the screen for any length of time. I've become accustomed to it, but it's really neat just how smooth the glass is. All in all, it's hard to knock any marks off this thing at all. I've had it on there for a month or more, and I am 100% happy with it. This is a *strongly* recommended product for you ZTE Axon 7 or Axon 7 Special Edition.

The glass screen protector covers the entire screen plus the any black portion around it, including the navigation buttons. I have lost sensitivity in those buttons, eapically the home button. I purchased a Spigen case to go along with it screen protector but it would not fit since the protector goes edge to edge. I needed to use the case included with the phone. The screen protector sticks very well to the phone, even though it runs a little against the case. It does however constantly show finger prints and needs be be constantly wiped down. It retains the same clarity of the phone screen underneath as well. Overall, good choice

This protector warranted the $30 price tag almost immediately. Installation took less than 5 minutes with and everything for the process was included in the box. After watching the linked video (watch it) getting the screen on flawlessly took less than 5 minutes and required no prior skill thanks to the included hinge system. Once on i can say it is the only screen protector i have ever used that fits the 2.5D screen without peeling edges, improper screen coverage or clunky looks. 100% recommended for anyone wanting to protect their phone and anyone that is tired of the poor cheaper alternatives available elsewhere that never quite fit right.

Perfect fit. Keeps my phone looking new and feeling slick. I have bought this item many times, and my ZTE phone is 3 years old and I've been taking it into a steel plant every day. Still feels brand new every time I put a new one of these screen protectors on. And it is very scratch-resistant. This item and a Spigen case is all you need for your phone.

These are hands down the best screen protectors I've ever used. They go on very easily and are very durable.
