Works great/ Be Careful Installing!
I provide service & repair on portable Welder/Generators. These fuel pumps work great but on some of the older Miller & Lincoln Welders you have to be very careful during the installation. If it requires re-routing the fuel lines or bending them to a different angle, you may need to modify the mounting plate where the fuel pump attaches on the carburetor. DO NOT put any unnecessary force on the body of the fuel pump! You will distort the body just enough to compromise the sealing surface of the diaphragm. It will then lose vacuum and not work. This creates a situation where people think the new fuel pump is bad when in reality, they damaged it. Once I went through this learning curve the problems disappeared.

Note the picture of mounting holes.
The picture is correct, but the mounting holes are off by 90 degrees for a 218p Onan on a lincoln ranger 8 welder. Will have to fab an adapter mount plate. You're time and money ahead by fabbing an adapter. There are pitfalls to removing the screws, not recommended. The 4 screws can be removed, (if you allow the pieces to separate the internal parts will get out of place and ruin the pump) You can hold everything together like holding a sandwich (there are locating pins that are in the pump body that would allow 180 rotation only) and rotate pump mounting plate to align with engine pulse hose if the hose is too short or the mounting bracket interferes with the pulse hose connection. The pump "in", "out" is clearly marked, pulse connection is by itself on the mounting bracket part of the pump.

Broken part.

Quality of product in question.
I ordered a carburetor kit , fuel pump and intake gaskets . Fuel pump is great 👍 The carburetor kit - the gasket and the 4 machine screws good . The float , needle valve was absolutely garbage/ unusable. If you need a carburetor gasket , just buy that separately. You are wasting your money and looking for more problems if you try using that off shore float !!! I'm automotive mechanic by trade . Save your money .

Had to return for faulty pump
Had to return because it would not pump fuel. A universal lawn mower one plugged in and worked just fine.
