TCA Men's Long-Sleeved Compression Shirt with Thermal Function

I have a couple of these in different colours and it is fair to say for the price and the fact it does what it says on the tin, I’d not buy anything else. Brands need to learn a lesson from these guys - Under Armour are far too expensive for exactly the same thing! I am glad I came across TCA - I’ll be sticking to this brand for my underwear tops (I’ve a few from other brands I like as well though, however I like the TCA ones best because they fit well and are thin.) I’m a bit chubby and not too tall, so I find the large is best for me for best fit. I managed to get the white one at Christmas when I noticed you had a little £9.99 sale :-) Would love to see an orange one in your range as that colour is tricky to get.

I'm always wary of ordering clothes, particularly underclothes, online because I find the sizing can be erratic. However I'm pleased that this top (and the matching leggings I also purchased) are a good fit for my son. My son is very happy with this base layer - it doesn't constrict movement and it keeps him warm. As it hasn't been that cold yet this season he's even started off wearing this top and then taken it off mis-way through training as he's been too warm. i doubt that will happen in February! Really pleased with this base layer (and the matching leggings) and I'll probably buy them again next year in the next size up.

Does the job pretty well - I use it for training and fencing competitions. As another reviewer mentioned, it does indeed show exactly where those pies and glasses of wine end up..... :-( Next time I'll be buying the black version - and going back on a diet! As a pointer on size, I'm 5' 10" and have a 44" chest and a waist that varies between 35" and 40" (see comment on pies above). This fits me fine, with a reasonable but nowhere near excessive compression. It is also pretty long in the body but that's not really a problem.

I bought this for an 11 year old girl and the fit was great close to the body which was what a base layer is designed to be. She said it keeps her warm and it was less than half the price of canterbury equivalent.

I have a Under Armour Therma white long-sleeve top that after many years of regular wear is now not looking just quite as pristine white as it once did. On the hunt for a replacement I saw this TCA Thermal top at a really good price, and given I already owned 3 other TCA tops and had been impressed with the quality and value of them I decided this was the one for me. Sadly this is a bit of a let down. I mean it looks good, very good quality, great compression and fit but it's in no way thermal. My Under Armour Thermal compression top has a soft brushed cotton lining, that whilst not really thick none the less adds a real warmth to the garment, but this TCA top is just a very thin material, there's nothing thermal about it. In fact it's so efficient at wicking any heat away from my torso that if I wear it just around the house under a top/t-shirt I actually feel pretty cold, as if there's a slight draught on me all the time. It works well during exercise though as I tend to overheat really quickly and keeps me nicely cool. If the description had not had the word thermal I would have given it 4 stars at least as everything else about it is very good, it's just not what was advertised.

I bought this as an undergarment for golfing and fishing on cooler days below a loose outer layer,I found it good quality and nice and warm,I particularly liked the design of the neck,not too high or low,these shirts are tight so if like me at 55yr you have some lumps and bumps in the wrong places it will show them off,as I say I bought it as a base layer and was very pleased with it and would recomend to others just remember it will show off your physique if worn on it's own, for better or worse !!!

Purchased this skin to go under my sons school shirt to keep him warm. Good fit, he like it.

I hadn’t heard of TCA before but this was the only yellow base layer I could find. Noted some other reviews about size guide not being correct but I have other base layers size Large including Under Armour and this one fits fine. Quality appears very good and colour is exactly as required but haven’t worn yet when running due to current hot weather.

Ich hatte zur Sicherheit M und L bestellt. Mein Sohn ist 180 groß und sehr schlank. Die L ist es geworden. Einzige Anmerkung ist, dass man unter den Achseln den sogenannten Tannenbaumeffekt hat. Hier könnte es ein bisschen mehr Material und Weite sein. Ansonsten ist alles Topp. Das Material ist nicht zu dünn, der Stehkragen für die Witterung bestens geeignet. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
