Van Life: Inspiration for Your Home on the Road

With zero extra funds, technical expertise, time, or skills I opted to buy a 2017 T6 converted VW camper and we’ve had a blast. When I spotted Foster’s book I knew I needed to grab a copy and drool over the retro campers and incredible scenery the contributors have seen. This book is a wonderful coffee table read. It’s packed full of beautiful images of campers across the globe. It includes chapters for T2, T3, and T4 fans, Sprinter vans, school buses, small RVs, and 4x4s. Interspersed between the chapters are real-life stories of van owners and their adventures. I’ve followed the van life hashtag for years and continue to find inspiration for my trips from the huge community that shares their travels and their pride and joy. If you dream of travelling through Italy, Canada, or the National Parks of America then you’ll drool over the images in this book. Would highly recommend it.

Lovely photographs

This is basically a picture book and some brief interviews with people about their vans and the different paths they have taken. The pictures are awesome and it is nice to see the different walks of life that lead to people living in their vans. Don't be under any illusion that you'll learn a great deal from this book but it's a nice book all the same.

Inspiring photos. Most of the entries are American and i would suggest they have an easier time of creating these larger vans and getting around on the big roads of USA. But some of the vamped vans are simply stunning, often in beautiful locations. Admittedly more a coffee table book, but there are a few short interesting interviews.

Fantastic book. The images are stunning a real inspiration for anyone with a van or thinking of getting one. Great that there are some real out of the ordinary conversions, with images from beautiful places around the world.

What a beautiful book for the coffee table, good size, hardback and full of stunning photography! The perfect gift for any van enthusiast (like my brother). Great value for money too with the current offer, well worth it!

Not really what I thought it was, expecting more stories and maybe maps but had alot of pictures would have rated it higher but like I said not what I expected

I love this book, it has given me and my partner so much inspiration for our own van build. A perfect whimsical coffee-table book with plenty of beautiful pictures and an overall great adventure book with nice stories. I like the variety of the pictures and vans covered because we bought it for ideas for our build. Our friends saw the book and loved it, and now I want to buy another for them

Schönes Buch, sehr hochwertig verarbeitet mit wunderschönen Fotos. Hab selbst nur ganz kurz reingeschaut, da es ein Geschenk für eine Freundin mit Fernweh war. Ist gut angekommen :)

Questo libro è semplicemente stupendo, contiene un sacco ispirazioni e foto stupende. L'unico mio dubbio è che la copertina è diversa da quella ufficiale per qualche strano motivo ma l'interno è identico.
