Great knife with dubious promotion. Really neat knife. Its substantial but manageable. The hinge and back lock are strong and stable. The blade is plenty sharp out of the box. An interesting bit about the blade is the belly is not a 100% smooth curve. It's not at all a tanto, but it has just enough of an angle on it that it gives it a little extra when slicing. The integrated guard works well, opening and closing without getting hung up. Though it can rattle a little when closed. As for the dubious promotion - I wouldn't call this a survival knife. The two handed opening, the lack of clip and cheap sheath, make it more of a hobby or casual outdoor knife. If you want to cut up some kindling, whittle a bit, slice a nice gouda, and this is a great pic. Additionally, the images shown in the listing at the time of this review are decidedly faked and don't really represent the size very well. It's not a small knife, but it's no Bowie either.

I love the knife very sophisticated, but the case that came with it wasn't no good it ripped it and my knife fell out.

Bought this heavy duty folding lock-back for my wife. She opens a ton of letters and boxes per day at her desk at home. This does the job 150% ! She loves the build and quality of the knife, … a straight up win-win !😉👍

As a knife collector, this is one of my favorites. UT is solid, clean and sharp. I play with it like a fidget toy and enjoy the quality. Buying another one now.
