These vitamins have a strong earthy taste that I really like. You can chew them, or swallow them if you don’t like the taste, but you can really tell that they are made from natural sources. I take 4 at a time. Try it, you’ll like it….

We have been taking these for several years and used to get them from our chiropractor. He no longer sells them so we ordered from Amazon. We really like these vitamins!

I've been using Standard Process supplements for about a year (suggested by my chiropractor) and have been extremely pleased with every product I have tried. Although these are a little more costly than OTC vitamins/supplements, I don't mind paying a little extra as I know these are made with all whole food and actually work! I will continue using these, but will purchase only through my chiropractor in the future. If you look at the Standard Process website, you will see that they only sell direct to healthcare professionals and as of May 2016, they have a policy of No Resale by Third Parties. I've noticed that a lot of the prices shown on Amazon for these SP supplements/herbs are much more expensive than what I pay at my chiropractor's office for the very same thing, so beware!!! If you want to purchase them, check out the SP website. They have a link so you can find a healthcare professional in your area that sells their products.

Great product. I no longer need naps in the afternoon and have consistent energy throughout the day. I also wake up early in the morning before the sun. Much cheaper if you can get it wholesale or through your chiropractor as this is overpriced. I couldn't wait to get it so I ordered it for the prime shipping. Update: I noticed a good side effect with this product, my skin has a healthy glow to it and the little imperfections in my skin are less noticeable. Not sure if anyone else has had this experience.

Catalyn is a nutritional product that has been around since 1929. It was introduced by the founder, Dr. Royal Lee, DDS (a dentist and maverick in the field of nutrition) as his first product. The intention of this product is to supplement a person's diet with vital nutrients from whole food sources. These are not vitamins manufactured in a pharmaceutical or chemical plant. These are nutrients supplied in the manner they appear in nature. I have used the Standard Process Catalyn 360 Tabs for many years (still the same recipe after 80 years), but wanted to try this version. They taste good! Although rated the same, nutritionally, this newer (1997) chewable version is a bit sweeter than the original and is flavored with natural cherry fruit powder, of course to target them for children. In his historic work, Compiled Notes on Clinical Nutritional Products , Dr. Walter H Schmitt, DC, pg. 26., tells us that Catalyn "was designed to contain all the vitamins and trace minerals, both known and unknown. Because it is made from natural sources (liver, wheat germ, etc.) it contains all of the trace minerals found in nature as well as the major minerals such as calcium, iron, and phosphorous." What I find most surprising is what he says next, "Each time a new trace element is discovered, Catalyn is analyzed and the element is found to be present." He also adds, "The effectiveness of many products derived directly from nature is often due to the trace elements and enzymes contained therein." The presence of these he claims is due to the fact that they are "cold processed," which he explains briefly.
