Zmodo 8 Channel sPoE Repeater for Zmodo sPoE Cameras

The cameras are well made and easily rotated for mounting. They have been installed for two weeks now and the quality at night is amazing in the black & white mode. Daylight high-def mode is great. Everything is included is the system setup and the app used is very easy. I substituted my own CAT6 cables for the included CAT5 cables. All cameras are mounted outdoors and semi protected from the rain & sun. The lens does not appear to fog up like my old system’s cameras. I will definitely choose ReoLink when I want to expand my security system.

Parents had a zmodo cam system, and hated the software. The cameras would get DHCP, but otherwise, would not talk on the network. Replaced the DVR with this, and blueiris was able to talk to all the cams. Only problem I can find, the cameras no longer have the correct time/date. Have blueiris cover that part of the video with the correct time date.

I have a zmodo system (1080p) 4 cameras and 1 nvr which died some days ago, I also have an extender and the 3 extra cameras that came with it, that extender only works with 720p cameras so I was on the hunt for another one for my 1080p cameras, found this one and asked if it will work for that purpose, one selle and one user said that yes so I went ahead and to my surprise it is exactly the extender that I already have! (that only works for 720p) what a shame!. That is the reason they don't put on the listing the resolution, so that more users fall for it.... Zmodo support is non existent and the sellers simple have no idea about the products they are selling.. Stay away!. (Take on look at the picture for reference...) UPDATE: The seller was SHOTECH, I have to mention this here because they DELETED my feedback!, buyers beware!

Awesome, but Zmodo and their proprietary wiring BS is the only reason you will need this for camera runs beyond the wiring length they supply you with. Also you will have to plug it in... My install was 350 feet from the NVR, then plugged this in and ran the wires that came with the Zmodo cameras 150 ft and 50 ft. Keep in mind you can run a single cat 6 or 5 from the NVR for 600 ft or so but wherever that cat 5/6 line ends you will need electricity to run this repeater. Shipped fast and in great condition!

Really convenient device to extend my security cams and helps cable managing instead of having all wires come up to my NVR. Thank you..!

No response from tech support

Had to buy this to replace the one that came with our system a year after we bought it. Now a year later this repeater has stopped working also. Very disappointed.
