Very good in low sunlight and fantastic in full sun creates a good waterfall very pleased with purchase.

The media could not be loaded. When the solar panel is in direct sun it works great. It’s a bit small, but does have at least a two metre cable so it’s easy to move around. The fountain is great but be diligent about pushing the tube down correctly. It would be nice if the tube was longer. So I could put it deeper into the pond. After a few days it stopped working after heavy rain. I was going to return it. Instead I removed the spouts tipped out the water that had got in and left it to dry out a bit with the pump sitting in water in a sandwich tub on the window sill after a couple of days it started working fine and I am glad I kept it. Tips, get a wider pond . The fountain falls wider than the pond so I have to keep topping the pond up to keep the motor covered. Don’t attach the solar panel to one static object. You’ll find it better if you can move it around. Overall I’m happy with it. It depends on what you will use it for. The solar panel could be bigger, the spout taller and I will get a wider pond.

Even in direct sunlight this doesn’t do anything then a trickle/ weird spurts. Rendering it completely useless I wouldn’t waste your money the solar panel can not actually be mounted either and no spike for the ground so it’s a nightmare to get it to stay. Il be getting one I can actually mount and bigger panel to absorb the sun better as this one is tinyyyy.

Plug and play- ready to go but you will need something to prop the solar panel up on at an angle.I nearly returned this after 48 hours as it stopped working, but it went again, so I kept it. Worked fairly well in bright springsunshine.does not work in hazy sunshine..stopped working after 6/52.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to fit to my water feature and works in full sun and light cloud cover. Really pleased with it so far. Made a little stand to get the full benefit of the sunlight.

Great little pump, but the suckers on the bottom are not strong enough to hold when in full flow and the pump can fall over. The tube for the heads could be a bit longer. It is powerful enough for what we wanted and for the price it's great!

We have had a resin solar power fountain for a couple of years, unfortunately it only ever worked in fantastically bright sunshine, the rest of the time it sulked and did nothing. So, I decided to change the pump and panel. When this new one arrived, I was surprised to find that the solar panel was very small (a lot smaller than the old one). However, I swapped them out and this one certainly seems to work. To be fair, no solar panel (without storage) is going to function in low light, and this one proves that to be true. Having said that, it does burst into life in moderate sunlight, which is more than the old one did. My main criticism of this panel is that it is just that, a panel, there is no provision for sticking a spike into the ground, or attaching it to a structure. I remedied that with an old plastic spike and some superglue.

I actually bought this for use as the pump for a hummingbird feeder, after watching a YouTube video "Hummingbirds Birdbath How to Make $1 Flower Pot into EASY Hummingbird Solar Fountain". What I didn't think about was that our place for where the hummingbirds land is actually in the shade of the back side of our house. This means that it isn't a continuous stream of water. BUT... thankfully the way this item works is that when the light is very low, it runs the fountain for like half a second... then shuts down for a second, then runs the fountain for half a second... and so on. And the power is tiny: only enough to lift the water about 5 and a half inches when the panel is in the shade.It turns out though, that this tiny lifting ability, and intermittent operation, is still perfect for my use case. It's great to be able to make a birdbath so cheap!

We keep this in our bird bath, keeps the water circulating. Will work for 24 hrs. On a bright sunny day where the panel had been charged all day. All the different heads make it so easy to adjust as needed. Have 2 of them and the one in a another location not as good, as more shade.

Good points include the accessories, nozels, hose and compact packaging and, unfortunately, a simple returns process. When it did work it managed to pump about 30-40cm head (height from the pump).Bad points: it only worked on full summer sun, clouds made it cut out. Came back the following day to see if there was any improvement - totally dead; sent for returns and will be looking for something a bit bigger.
