If it's a tig welder it will weld aluminum. I'm not sure what that other person is saying. Tungsten inert gas (tig) welding process is for welding metals such as aluminum, stainless steel, and different types of alloys.

The tig torch on most Chinese ct312 units is a wp-17 unit. You can find parts for these torches all over the internet. The tungsten electrodes are available at every tool retailer in America. As for the plasma cutter torch, it depends on which unit you have. If you have a standard unit, you most likely have a pt31 torch. If you have a ct312 PILOT ARC unit, you most likely have a wsd-60p torch. Again parts widely available on the net. Hope this helps.
