Best performance/cost ratio.
I used this pump for water injection on a quenching process. I used the 4-20mA input on the control port. In this way I can drive the volume output of the pump from 0 to1500 ml/min from my PLC. I took the risk and am using it in an industrial application. So far, in control and accuracy I am very satisfied. The only thing that I don't have history on is the lifespan of the rolling parts and the electronics.

Peristaltic pump doesn't maintain seal during dosing
To be upfront, I'm not using this pump for dosing a tank, I'm using it to feed my child via gtube. However, during the cycle of pump circulation, the pump does not maintain suction. In my configuration, one of the primary goals is pull food from a syringe so I don't have to. If you use this pump to pull from a syringe under minimal resistance, you to may have issue with dosing properly. To maintain seal during the cycle, the device would need to hold the line seal through the rotation. This means two drums sealing and then one drum sealing at all times. This device only keeps the line sealed one drum or it is open. This can be seen in my video where pullback occurs then dosing only happens for a few seconds. I think I can still use it for my purposes but it's not as ideal.
