Nanogen Keratin Thickening Hair Fibres, 15 g, Dark Brown

Amazing product I've newly discovered. Does exactly what it says on the tin!

I've been using this product for quite some time, and I've found it to be highly effective. It's simple to use (the fibres are sprinkled onto your head, in much the same way as you talcum powder), and - once you've got the hang of it - takes less than 5 minutes to apply. Once on, the fibres will stay in place for the rest of the day. I do suggest that, should it be a breezy day, you also use a little hair spray - to help hold the fibres in place. This really does create the appearance of having thicker hair. In fact, this can completely conceal very thinning hair. It won't work if you're completely bald, as it requires you having some hair for the fibres to cling to. These fibres don't 'sit' on your scalp - rather, they rest on your existing hair and make it look like you've got a much thicker head of hair. I have "ginger" hair - and I use the auburn fibres. They're a perfect colour match. If you're not happy about having thinning hair, and you prefer the appearance of having a thicker head-full of hair, then I recommend you try this product. The larger 30g item is adequate for a month - although if your hair is very thin, you'll likely need to use twice as much to create the appearance you're after. The negatives are: (1) these fibres are not water proof, so it rains then you'll need to quickly put a hat on; (2) the fibres almost completely fall off while you're in bed - so they'll need to be applied every day, first thing. And you'll need to clean your pillow case more regularly; (3) in one respect, these fibres are TOO good. Once applied, you'll forget about your thinning hair. The results are great. But when you step out of the shower, you'll find yourself reminded of how thin your hair is! As such, you can easily come to rely on these - and that's not a good thing. Overall, an impressive product. Note: to successfully apply these fibres, you'll need two mirrors - one to look into, and another to see the back of your head.

I had to change my review this product rates a solid 4*, why the change in review? Well I wasn’t using the product correctly now I have figured it out it works extremely well. I’m suffering with medical alopecia and it covers up in a way that allows me to style my hair with confidence

GREAT STUFF

It works (kind of). I'll keep this short: Pros - Genuinely does 'create' hair where it previously looked like there was none. - Doesn't look too artificial in some lights. Not THAT easy to notice that it's fake. - With the use of hairspray product will stay in place for maybe 8 hours indoors when affixed with hairspray. Cons - MUST be affixed in place with hairspray. This means no matter how you used to style your hair (or not) you are now commited to having a hairstyle that is affixed in place with hairspray. - This also means your entire head is now a rock hard helmet of hair and microfibres. - YOU CAN'T TOUCH after application. Don't listen to other reviews you cannot adjust your hair in any way. The product will immediately clump into gross balls of fibres and you'll need to shampoo out and start again. - Looks artificial in some light. The 'new' hair can look metallic and shiny compared to existing hair. - Slightly awkward to apply. I would recommend getting someone to help if your bald spot is at the crown. Difficult to work in 2 mirrors at the same time! - YOUR HEAD IS NOW ALLERGIC TO RAIN. In Britain. Think about that. Overall I do like Nanogen Fibres the immediate WOW effect is worth buying this product once for. However I simply cannot imagine using this more than every once in a while for special occasions. PS - Everyone WILL NOTICE that this is fake hair. Don't kid yourself!

Works really well for thinning hair, masks well and looks completley natural. I like it as there's no nasty ingredients to worry about . I would recommend using a hairspray after applying as it can clump on the scalp I found without it. But really worth the money and gives you confidence to go about your every day things without worrying about thin areas. Holds well in wind and rain so a big confidence booster, brilliant stuff and well worth the money.

I am just so disappointed. I was so excited to use this product. I have seen its promotion online and the idea seemed amazing. I am not bald. I just have thin hair and wanted a fuller look. ISSUE 1: Even though I was extremely careful, the product fell all over my neck, back (I was shirtless - glad I didn't have my new shirt on when I sprinkled the fibers). Where I wanted my hair to be particular full was at the front - near my hairline. I ended up all dusty with the product all over my forehead. And yes, I was very careful and sprinkled it gently following box instructions, blending the fibers with my fingers. It was literally a matter of 5-10 min (as I was extra careful)l and I was all dusty. In the end, I had to go and have a shower to clean myself. ISSUE 2: The fibers go down to your scalp! I thought they were meant to attach to your hair, not to your scalp! My scalp looked ridiculous at the front as if I had been showered with brown dust. Rather than making my hair look nice, this product brought even more attention to my hair negatively. No, I was not sweaty, I had had a shower 20 minutes before and was fully dry. I would like a refund!

Ottimo prodotto, fa quello che deve. Qualità ed effetto finale sono incredibili, restituiscono quella sicurezza che si può perdere quando si hanno dei diradamenti importanti. Si possono usare tranquillamente con la lacca e reggono una giornata senza problemi.

me compre el primer bote junto con la laca de la misma marca, color un tono mas claro que mi pelo. me va genial.hay que acostumbrarse a echar la cantidad correcta. Viene bien dejar el peinado preparado antes de echarlo. luego arreglar un poco con la mano y ya. yo me pongo una toalla en los hombros, y una visera con velcro atras , para que no me caiga en la frente, ya que me hace falta en la parte delantera.espolvoreo golpeando cuidadosamente el bote y quito la visera. me lo arreglo con las manos y perfecto. hecho la laca, con ojos cerrados y listo. sacudo la toalla y ya.a veces hay que limpiar algo la frente , por si no he colocado bien la visera. recomendado y volveré a comprar.
