1 each of REF: ~ MM ART/008: COLOURING BOOK ~ MM ART/005: SKETCH BOOK In a cellophane-type wrapper came the 2 ‘Marvin’s Magic’ books, which are the same size, roughly 28.5 cm x 20.75 cm; one of which is an 18 plain page (36 sides) SKETCH BOOK to do your own thing in. They do look smart with a glossy black finish to the background of the covers and a vibrant ‘coloured in’ animal. Inside the pages are a bright white in colour, to my eye. I notice that the product detail mentions using ‘Magic Pens’, from the same brand in these books and I have no experience of these. However, with reference to the current stock images above, I would say that, unless they are double-ended, the tips look too thick for the more intricate areas in the colouring book supplied. The colouring book has 36 single-sided, mandala-style wildlife outlines, with black frames to each picture. There are no perforations, but the spine area looks like it is accessible for the best part. The paper quality is quoted at ‘120' in the current product detail; nothing on the products to confirm. It feels on the thin side to me compared to other books I have, but, as previously mentioned, the pictures are single-sided. However, I would still place a piece of cardboard behind the chosen picture in case of bleed through, if contemplating using wet tips. My nieces love to colour and I bought these books and it kept them quiet for a worrying amount of time. My nieces are 12 and 11, I even had a go myself and the pictures and quality are great!

Good quality, great patterns. I recommend putting a scrap piece of paper behind the page your coloring if your using pens. But great value for money.

11 year-old granddaughter‘s birthday present and she loves it and that’s not easy for her to say she’s very picky about her gifts and presents, but she loved this one

Coloring book has good designs to work on. Book needed pressure to keep open to work on. Sketch book is average weight blank paper to work with. Sorry I spent so much for this. Not worth what I paid.
