You will definitely need a top coat for this paint. If not, even brushing past a cabinet will leave a mark and its not washable without a top coat either. Not an all-in-one as advertised.

I used this to paint a fabric chair. I read a bunch of info online and this paint came recommended. Now my family is asking me to paint chairs for them in other colors. I painted 1 chair at my Moms house (as a tester), then I painted this one shown at mine. I used a wax after 3 coats of diluted paint.

Item says primer included and covers well. I’ve put on three coats now just to cover the wood grain of a table. It really is a dull flat finish. The full finish would be acceptable except it you touch the finish in any way, it leaves finger prints, like oily tips of fingers even when my hand are clean! Looks like I will need to wax it in hopes of eliminating any prints. More work than I wanted to do for this piece. Now I know to find another brand for my other items. I used black licorice.

Using a foam roller, I got the best coverage over old wood stained doors. the paint goes on smoothly and covers almost everything with one coat, but two for sure is enough. I’m especially impressed because I had previously used some other leading small businesses chalk paint brands and corporate Rust-Oleum before but this is better than those! Plus, the price is a good value. There was no smell obvious to me while painting. The paint requires thorough stirring before applying.
