HP 951XL High Yield Yellow Original Ink Cartridge (CN048AE ) - Works with HP OfficeJet Pro 251, 276, 8100, 8600, 8610, 8616, 8620, 8640, 276dw

These cartridges arrived on time, in order and were proper originals. How many times has that not happened to me. These are real, in a properly packaged sealed blister pack. I'd recommend buying the XL cartridges simply because they last so long you'll forget when you replaced them and when they run out it will be a shock because you'd think they would go on forever. In all seriousness, the original cartridges that came with the printer HP8620 lasted a long time, these have been tested and give laser printers a run for their money. Actually they are probably better value and this is borne out by many tests and reviews. I rate the printer I use and these long lasting cartridges. Word of advice, when you order make sure they are originals, packaged correctly and sealed in plastic. If they are not you may be getting a refilled one.

I decided to buy the genuine HP cartridges after reading few reviews of the non-official ones. Needless to say, it was a child's play to install them and the printer recognised them immediately and I was up and running in no time. Once I removed the old cartridges, I noticed that they were a "starter" pack, the ones that came with the printer. I am not a heavy user but these ones lated for over 2 years so I am guessing the "full fat" ones I have in now will last for a long while. The quality of the prints is top notch as expected. I know I am paying 3 times as much as the non HP cartridges but I can not put a price on peace of mind :)

Since 2011 I have used first an HP Officejet 8000 printer and then since 2017 an Officejet 8620. I only use genuine HP inks, and I find that in the officejet models the inks are long lasting. I use my printer a lot as I am self-employed consultant engineer and I am forever witing reports and proposals and printing drafts for proof-reading. Before 2011 I used cheap models of HP Printers (eg deskjet) but i found that the inks cost more than the printers themselves and hardly lasted any time.. For the last few years I have bought these 4-cartridge packs (940XL for my previous printer, 950XL for my current one), and I find them to be good value for money. I do shop around and generally find the best price to be on Amazon or occasionally on the official HP website when they are running a promotion. I did look at the HP Instant Ink, but for my useage I felt it was not the way to go. When my last printer was nearing it's last legs and I already had the new one sitting in the box, I did experiement with 3rd-party compatible inks - never again. I would always use HP official ink - i have always found it to be reliable, and should my printer develop a problem then as i have only used original ink cartridges I will have no problem with getting HP support.

I have used many HP inkjet printers over the years, I like them as they last. The previous printer's ink cartridges with the printhead on them drys up quickly. These ink cartridges are excellent as the first set was installed 5 years ago, it was over a year past the used by date and still worked perfectly. The printer or ink cartridge don't waste ink as the previous version did to clean the printhead every few months.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER. Installed my supposedly new cartridges and they have been used before and/or tampered with. They are not full and my printer won't accept them. Not sure if my printer will work again! They are original HP cartridges and in an HP Box and looked new and unopened but obviously it had been tampered with. Cartridges are in date by months but not full and won't work. Had to give it 1 star to submit my review.

The output of the HP OfficeJet Pro Plus 8600 was always excellent. There was no streaking or other imperfection. I do not know if other printers were cheaper, but I was always amazed at how many prints I could get out of the cartridge. After about 8 years, my 8600 just stopped working last week, coincidentally, , so I had to buy the later model, the 9010, which is also excellent, but uses different cartridges, the 963. The HP 8600 no longer seems to be made, so I suppose the 960/961 cartridges are also now superceded.

These are classic HP (warning - I used to work for the T&M part of the company, so could be accused of bias, but we didn't talk to the printer guys they smelt funny). "Classic" as in they are expensive but just work. Always get the XL's, they are better value. Basically, I just stick them in the printer and don't bother calibrating, they just work, no fuss.

Premetto che acquisto prodotti HP da più di 30 anni. A partire dalle prime calcolatrici scientifiche programmabili (quando ancora le stampanti a getto non esistevano) per arrivare ai PC moderni, alle periferiche professionali e ai consumabili. Tutto sempre perfetto, un brand che ha a cuore la qualità e la soddisfazione del cliente, sia dal punto di vista del prodotto che da quello del supporto. Ed è uno dei brand che è sempre stato più attivi nel campo dell'innovazione e della ricerca. Anche con queste cartucce, che utilizzo con una OfficeJet Pro 4470 in formato A3, siamo al livelli ancora superiori. Sistema di installazione a prova di neofita, non ci sono nemmeno i sigilli da rimuovere(!), basta inserire la cartuccia nel carrello e chiudere lo sportello. Per il resto pensa a tutto la stampante. Tutto molto semplice. La qualità di stampa del resto è sempre perfetta, con neri pieni nei testi, colori saturi nei grafici e nello stesso tempo realistici nelle foto, anche utilizzando carta comune per fotocopiatrici. Ovviamente il meglio si ottiene utilizzando supporti specifici per il tipo di risultato richiesto (carta foto per le foto, carta brochure per i documenti, ecc.). La durata: mi ha stupito, veramente molto elevata; con un set completo si riescono a superare agevolmente le 1.000 stampe di documenti con un livello di copertura medio (testo, grafici e qualche immagine). Ovviamente il consumo dipende molto dal tipo di documenti stampati, ma posso dire tranquillamente che queste cartucce vanno ben oltre le aspettative. Il prezzo: certo, non è economico in senso assoluto, ma se si considera la ricerca e la tecnologia sviluppata negli anni per ottenere i risultati a cui sono arrivati, posso dire che valgono quanto costano. Oltretutto si può risparmiare qualcosa acquistando il bundle delle quattro cartucce o in alternativa, se si utilizzano molto i colori, esiste un bundle delle cartucce in quadricromia con un set di carte speciali. Una nota: se vi venisse in mente di acquistare prodotti compatibili, ve lo sconsiglio vivamente! Per esperienza personale, rischiereste di buttare tutta la stampante, in quanto la scarsa qualità di questi inchiostri andrebbe con certezza matematica ad ostruire gli ugelli (che sono montati sulla stampante e non sulle cartucce). Quindi, se non l'aveste ancora intuito, consiglio assolutamente questo prodotto.

Good HP quality

They failed to mention that their ink cartridges don’t work in Canada. They email me to instructing me to return them for refund. I did immediately and haven’t heard from them since.

Consistency and reliability at all levels: Original parts / reliable usage / longevity and for this specific purchase, the absolutely great bundle price (thanks!!!)
