Hi, this looks indentical to rothenburger/bernzomatic torches? Anyone know if the're copies or made under licence

Unsure of licensing, good torch for the money

Is there a finer nozzle available for this torch? I found the nozzle is a bit too big.

You have to look in the murchant, i use nozzle from my old remes torch.

Does this heat to nearly 2000' or is it a 1600' type, thanks

Using MAPP gas you get 2000 deg. I've tried this torch with the Butane Propane gas (cooler temperature) using an adaptor but this torch isn't happy with it and flares constantly. MAPP gas is the one for this!

Is it fine flame or like normal rothernburger ?

No, its not a fine flame - the output flame is the width of the nozzle and then some. The flame spread image on the packing is not what you get in reality. Its a great torch for heating plumbing fittings using MAP gas. If you want a fine flame for intricate work then its not this one.
