Incredible case - compared to slightly cheaper ones you can definitely tell the difference
This case feels incredibly solid and well thought out. The padding inside feels soft and solid, and the padding on the corners feels like it would genuinely protect a laptop against damage. There is also a lip on the inside you slide the laptop into, protecting the edges from the metal zip - a nice addition that shows how thought has gone into the design. The YKK zippers are nice, and go further down on one side for ease of charging. I haven't tested the water resistance, but it seems like it would protect it to some extent. The outside pocket is a nice touch, and has a good amount of space. It is a compact case, allowing it to easily be slipped into a bag with little wasted space.I also bought the RAINYEAR case for a family member, and the difference in quality and design between the two is stark. It is clear where the extra money is spent, in the materials, design, protection and compact nature.if you aren't sure whether this is worth the upgrade over a chinese generic brand, definitely go with this. The Rainyear is not bad by any means, but this extra detailing and thought makes all the difference
