The V4 has 30 percent more power over the Tech 3 model. is the bigger brother of the Tech 4 E4. The E4 and the V4 are very similar, although the V4 has a bigger caliper with more heat-dissipating qualities and a larger piston design offering 10% more power. It has a durable construction, with the caliper being made of a one-piece, CNC-machined aluminum alloy, and the lever is also aluminum. The lever features a tool-free reach adjustment and a bite point adjustment, so we can get the perfect lever feel and pad contact for our riding style. The lever is compatible with shifter standards for seamless integration, and the improved lever shape provides a more ergonomic shape to help with braking. The Tech 4 V4 has a hybrid piston design for smoother movement and less maintenance, and a phenolic insert helps to dissipate heat on long descents.

i open the box and the wire was cut in half like it doesnt even work like what???

They don't stand behind their product
I bought a set of these brakes and the 3.3 rotors. The front brake worked flawlessly, but the rear has given me nothing but issues. I tool pulled the pistons and there was a small amount of metal shavings in the caliper and some in the lever. Upon contacting Hope about the issues their solution was to deflect, punt, and blame me. If you have an issue, don't expect Hope to stand behind their product.
