Variety pack is the best so you have all sizes for the duration of your period. I think Tampax works great and has minimal leaks compared to others. I reccomend trying them, they are comfortable and easy to use and the instructions are easy to understand

Honestly, I normally use this brand but they were just too big. I accidentally bought the one that had multiple sizes and they were very uncomfortable. If you need tampons for heavier and lighter situation, by all means, but this is not for me. I do have an I believe that this brand has some of the most comfortable tampons. I’m normally someone that wears pads just because I’m very sensitive, but these ones are great. I just didn’t realize I ordered the super heavy ones LOL.
