This was easy to put together with just a screwdriver. I needed something with really good carpet suction for a family house that wasn't cleaned for months. Lots of thick dust bunnies hiding behind furniture. OMG one pass along the edging did a great job, and two passes picked up what was left behind embedded in the carpet. I had to keep removing the cup as it filled quickly. Trashing what it held amazed me. Not only dust bunnies but fine dust poured out. I truly recommend this for any vacuuming job.

This vacuum is AWESOME! It has great suction and all the tools you need (sore in vac). The rotating step vacuum is only powered by air from the vacuum but, it does a great job unless you press too hard. When you use the rotating step vacuum, the brushes for the main vac DO NOT turn off. You need to tilt the vacuum back to avoid wrecking your floors/carpet. All that being said, this is a great cheap vacuum and I would buy it again. It has 3 levels: high plush carpet, med carpet and bare floor. Easy to switch back and forth. The cord is long.

As someone who just moved into a new apartment and wanted it to truly feel like my clean, safe space, this vacuum was one of the best purchases I made. The apartment had already been professionally cleaned twice before I moved in, and I even vacuumed every room with my old Dyson because I have a bit of a clean freak streak and wanted peace of mind. I genuinely thought the carpets were spotless. Then I used the Bissell CleanView Compact Turbo. I wish I was exaggerating when I say I was horrified by what ended up in the canister. It pulled up so much fine dust, dead skin, and hidden grime that I literally had to stop and stare at it. The carpet looked clean, but clearly it wasn't. As gross as it was, it also made me feel so much better knowing all of that wasn't still sitting where I'd be walking barefoot and sleeping every night. If you're another girl moving into a new apartment and you're trying to make it feel fresh, clean, and like your own little sanctuary, I can't recommend this enough. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the suction is honestly incredible for the size and price. This isn't one of those reviews claiming a vacuum "changed my life," but it absolutely changed how clean I realized my apartment actually was. It gave me real peace of mind, and that's worth every penny.
